In Imabari, where there was already a foundation in the cotton industry, they started making cotton pile products with hand looms in 1910.
It is precisely because Imabari has endured the rise and fall that it continues to be the largest cotton pile production area in Japan, skillfully blending traditional manufacturing techniques with the latest technology.
