Match Report
The 2017 Kanto Youth (U-15) Football League Division 1, which resumes after the summer break, has only 5 sections left.
The current situation is that we are in 2nd place, but the teams below us are also closely competing, so we cannot let our guard down.
Sec. 18, the Tokyo Derby has arrived.
The match against Verdy, an opponent that we absolutely cannot afford to lose to, kicked off at 16:30 at home ground "Fukagawa Grand".
【First Half】
The game starts moving early on.
A minute into the game, Yasuzaki, who received a throw-in, connected with Aoki and decisively swung his right foot to take the lead.
The game continues at a fast pace with Fukagawa leading. In the 8th minute, the ball passed between Yasuzaki and Yasuda and reached Kajiwara, who broke free at the perfect timing.
This scoring opportunity is blocked by the opponent's goalkeeper, but in the following 10 minutes, Aoki delivers a vertical pass, initiates the attack himself, and then scores a powerful mid-range shot with his left foot for the second goal.
Fukagawa, who is riding the momentum, scored their third goal in the 11th minute immediately after, as Yasuaki Anzai directed Kajiura's ball into the bottom left corner of the goal.
Expand the lead early.
Afterwards, Fukagawa continues to defend by coordinating with Verdy's possession and trying to steal the ball.
Unable to score despite threatening the opponent's goal in the 24th and 25th minutes, and furthermore in the 32nd minute, Yasuda breaks free from Azai's pass and aims with his left foot, but hits the crossbar.
We will go into halftime with a 3-0 lead.
【Second half】
In the second half, Fukagawa, who started aggressively, launched an offensive. In the 41st minute, Yasuda intercepted the ball from the opponent in a high position and passed it to Aoki.
This Aoki's shot is blocked by the goalkeeper, but Tokiwa follows up with a loose ball and extends the lead.
However, immediately after in the 42nd minute, we conceded a goal, and in the 46th and 48th minutes, we were continuously threatened by the opponent's goal, but we were saved by a missed shot.
Fukagawa, who regained the rhythm in defense, aimed directly at the net with a free kick obtained near the opponent's penalty area in the 50th minute, and Aoki's shot hit the wall and changed direction before being sucked into the net.
In the 64th minute, the opponent broke through the right side from their passing play, and their shot hit Fukagawa DF's hand, resulting in a penalty kick.
This will result in a score of 5-2.
The game continued with a back and forth in the midfield, but we were unable to score any additional points until the end.
Despite regrettable goals conceded, we won the Tokyo Derby, securing 3 points and confirming our place in the top division for next season.
There were difficult situations that could not be conveyed in the star chart, and it is valuable for the club to have decided to stay. I hope the third-year students will be proud and connect it to their future soccer life.
However, we want to take further steps towards acquiring the qualification for the next Emperor's Cup without being complacent.
