Match Report
The semi-final of the 29th All Japan Youth (U-15) Soccer Championship, the Prince Takamado Cup, was held at the AJINOMOTO FIELD NISHIGAOKA, which can be called the home stadium for FC Tokyo.
FC Tokyo U-15 Fukagawa, who has advanced to this tournament so far (3 matches) without conceding a goal, faced Omiya Ardija Junior Youth.
Before the match, Coach Ota said, "It's a wonderful stage. Let's value the switch in everything and show Fukagawa spirit. Let's do it with a gritty attitude without giving up on anything." Then, everyone in the locker room grabbed the emblem on their chest and sent it onto the pitch.

【First Half】
Omiya had control of the ball.
About 5 minutes into the game, Omiya had possession of the ball and faced attacks from both sides, but Fukagawa's defense closed the center tightly and didn't give any chances.
Fukagawa, Sasanuma, and Aoki make runs behind the opponent's defense and try to create a scoring opportunity, but they cannot create a chance.
In defense, Sasanuma and Aoki in the front line make dedicated efforts to press the opposing defense line, but they struggle to hit the target and end up allowing the ball to be brought into their own territory.
However, around the 20th minute, Fukagawa also started to connect passes and began to grasp the rhythm, reaching the 22nd minute.
Tokiwadai intercepts in the midfield, and Sakuma and Yasuda are involved here. When the three of them connect passes intricately, Sakuma ultimately takes a shot with his right foot, but it narrowly misses the left side of the goal.
27-28 minutes and Omiya are threatened with a goal from a short counter, but both shots miss the target.
Then, Fukagawa, who defended against this opponent's attack, scores the opening goal.
36 minutes, Yasuda, who dribbled on the left side, passes the ball to Aoki, who has moved vertically.
Aoki initiates a one-on-one attack on the left side of the PA and cuts into the goal area, then crosses it back to Anzai.
Anzai firmly pushes this in and takes the lead point.
Immediately after, Aoki skillfully breaks through the opponent's defensive line and, upon seeing the oncoming goalkeeper, attempts a looping shot but narrowly misses the target.
Although we couldn't score any additional points, we go into halftime leading 1-0.

【Halftime】
Coach Ota: "We came back with a 1-0 lead, but we haven't achieved anything yet. Let's press forward together and show our strengths. The defense must not forget about risk management."

【Second half】
Fukagawa, who confirmed pressing from the front with everyone during halftime, takes the initiative by exerting coordinated pressure from the beginning.
When Sasanuma and Aoki in the front line press, the midfield and defense line respond to it and push up, intercepting Omiya's characteristic short passes.
In the 43rd minute, a left corner kick was sent far, and from here, we received a counterattack, but Sugawara quickly switched and kicked the opponent's ball out of bounds, breaking the flow.
Fukagawa, who does not lose concentration, receives a pass from Shin and Sasunuma passes the last pass to Aoki in the 47th minute. Aoki breaks through the defense and calmly controls the one-on-one with the opponent's goalkeeper, scoring an additional point.
Fukagawa, who is further strengthening the offensive, entered the penalty area in the 52nd minute after Yasuda jumped out on Kimura's feed.
In the 53rd minute, Sugawara made a move inside the left penalty area and earned a corner kick, which Anzai passed to Aoki on the far side but it went over the frame of the goal.
Then, in the 58th minute, the opponent's goalkeeper made a mistake with a goal kick and Aoki picked it up.
When calmly deciding on a one-on-one with this GK with the left foot, the lead is extended to three points, and it matches the relentless counterattack of Omiya.
Despite being repeatedly attacked by long throws and dribbles from both sides, Kimura and Shin defended bravely and prevented Fukagawa from scoring.
Furthermore, GK Kumakura also demonstrated excellent defense, and the defensive unit has maintained a solid defense without conceding any goals so far in this tournament.
Fukagawa also showed a threatening goal from a counterattack as a substitute, and maintained an attacking posture until the end, restraining the opponent.
Fukagawa, who sent substitute players onto the pitch towards the end, closed the game and advanced to the final round with a 3-0 victory.

The semifinal round, which was held on a weekday, was attended by many fans and supporters in the stands, who strongly supported the players and staff.
Furthermore, the U-18 players who won the "Prince Takamado Cup U-18 Soccer League 2017 Championship" the other day also rushed to the goal end and strongly enhanced the sense of unity as FC Tokyo by cheering for U-15 Fukagawa with a loud voice.
