○Match Report
【Challenge to the next stage】
The opponent for the quarterfinals of the 25th J.League Youth Championship in the 2017 J Youth Cup is Kyoto Sanga F.C. U-18.
This is the 4th match in this year's official games. Although we have won all 3 matches so far, the opposing team is also a strong team that has advanced by defeating Shimizu S-Pulse Youth in the 3rd round last week.
The match took place at Best Amenity Stadium, with clear skies contrasting with the rain until last week.
Coach Sato said, "This will be our 4th match this year, but the opponent will come desperately as they cannot afford to lose for the 4th time. In our attack, we will focus on both dynamism and precision, and in defense, we will put pressure on the opponent by paying attention to the situation, continuity, and coordination. Let's fight with the consciousness of winning and return to Tokyo where our teammates are waiting!!" He then sent the players onto the pitch.

Next, Shinaida also boldly shoots a middle shot from the midfield, but it is saved by the GK in front.
And Tokyo welcomed its first big chance.
Kubo, who received the ball in the center, dribbled and made a through pass to Sugiyama. Sugiyama then took a shot, but it was blocked by the opposing goalkeeper who came out.
Kyoto, on the other hand, builds up their attack slowly while connecting with the DF line.
And when the ball enters the side, they courageously cross it, but Takase prevents the danger with an aggressive jump.
Tokyo, which gradually formed an attacking shape, had Yokoyama break through the defense in the 27th minute and pass to Kubo in the center after evading the opponent near the goal line. Unfortunately, this shot went over the bar.

At 32 minutes, Kubo received the ball in the midfield and dribbled in for a shot. The shot was blocked by the opponent, but Hirakawa pushed in the rebound, only to be saved by the opponent's GK.
Furthermore, Robert shoots the loose ball but it goes over the bar.
In the 33rd minute that followed, Kubo, who reacted to the through pass from Sugiyama, cut in towards the goal line and crossed it to the center, but it did not reach Kobayashi, who was running in, and they were unable to score.
Immediately after that, Kyoto creates a big chance.
When dribbled from the center, it expands to the right side. From there, a quick cross is made and the player who entered the center is shot a little left and right. This is barely saved by the post.
Tokyo continued to create several chances with intricate passing, but they were unable to score the final finish, and the first half ended with no goals.

【Half Time】
Coach Sato
"We are creating a good shape, but let's increase the tempo a little more. We have been developing more in the center and on the same side, so let's try to attack using width, such as side changes. Let's value both offense, defense, and set plays and fight until the end."

【Second half】
Tokyo continues to create opportunities in the second half.
When the opponent's corner kick is cleared, Sugiyama picks it up and passes it to Kubo. Kubo quickly dribbles up and crosses it to the center, but the goalkeeper catches it.

In the 80th minute, a perfect pass goes behind the defense line, but this is skillfully intercepted by Takase's brave jump to avoid a crisis.
