○Match Report
【Challenge to the next stage】
"Today is a mental battle. Let's enjoy it!"
Coach Ryo Sato gave a kind voice to the players just before the game.
The final match of the 2017 Prince Takamado Cup U-18 Football League Premier League EAST is finally here.
The 18th match was a direct confrontation between FC Tokyo U-18 (2nd place) and Aomori Yamada High School (3rd place), which had the possibility of a come-from-behind victory depending on the results of Shimizu S-Pulse Youth (1st place) held at a separate venue at the end of the 17th match.
Coach Sato conveyed in the pre-match meeting, "The culmination of the 2017 season. Let's create a new history! Now is the time to show the spirit of FC Tokyo U-18!" And finally, he threw these words to the players and sent them onto the pitch.

【First Half】
The match, which started with the kickoff of Aomori Yamada, is characterized by intense battles on the ball from the beginning, showcasing the determination of the players from both teams for this game.
Tokyo moves the ball around with Hideta and Kobayashi as the double pivot, aiming to take control.
Tokyo Dorompa sets up a compact formation in their own half and threatens the Tokyo goal with counterattacks using long balls, set plays, and long throws, while Aomori Yamada defends.
In the 3rd and 4th minute, Yoshida took a shot, and in the 8th minute, Aomori Yamada threatened Tokyo's goal from a corner kick.
After that, Tokyo continued to launch attacks from both sides, while Aomori Yamada countered. This development continued until the 28th minute.
When the ball is taken away near the opponent's penalty area, we receive a counterattack from the left side.
If the side is broken through from here and a cross is put in front of the goal, it is slid in but not met.
At 27 minutes, the opponent's GK catches a back pass from their teammate inside the penalty area and earns an indirect free kick.
Kobayashi aims for a trick play against the Aomori Yamada players lined up in front of the goal, but the opponent clears it on the goal line and it becomes a left corner kick.
Hineta directly hits this corner kick to the far post and scores the opening goal.
Tokyo, riding on momentum, launched a counterattack from a dribble by Sugiyama in the 34th minute.
In the 36th minute, the ball was quickly connected on the right side, and a direct pass from Yoshida to Hara was made. Finally, Sugiyama broke free and also aimed directly, but it went slightly to the right of the frame.
In addition, in the 37th minute immediately after, Kobayashi volleys from Fukano's cross on the right side.
In the 42nd minute, Haru connected with Yoshida with a long pass from Fukino, and when Haru returned the ball to the right side, the shot was saved by the opponent's goalkeeper.
While taking the lead, we feel a frustrating atmosphere of not being able to score additional points as we reach halftime.

【Halftime】
Coach Sato: "The opponent will definitely not let it end like this. It's not bad to be winning 1-0, but let's score the next two goals."
"All players, including the reserves, are strong, so everyone needs to give their all."

【Second half】
Both teams start the second half without making player substitutions. As the second half begins, Aomori Yamada starts pressing from the front, leading to an intense exchange of offense and defense between the two teams.
At 50 minutes, despite receiving a counterattack from the opponent, Takase made a good defensive play in the end.
Tokyo's Fuki-no intercepts the ball near the center line in the 52nd minute and dribbles up to take a shot, but it goes straight to the goalkeeper.
The long-awaited additional point came in the 57th minute, as Kobayashi passed the ball to Yokoyama on the right side from their own half in a counterattack.
Yokoyama evades the opposing player and when the opponent who came to cover momentarily creates distance, he bypasses the near side with his left foot and scores 2-0.
Furthermore, Tokyo's Fuki-no creates a chance from the right side and continues to aim for the goal, but it is the 75th minute.
When the right side is dribbled through, the opponent's shot hits the defender and is sucked into the goal.
Then Kubo cut off the opponent's counterattack mood.
In the 77th minute immediately after conceding a goal, Kubo entrusted the ball to Yokoyama in the midfield and started running towards the goal.
Yokoyama, who received the ball, dribbles up the right sideline and attracts the opponent, then passes it back to Kubo who ran on the inside.
Kubo swings his right foot from a one-on-one situation inside the right penalty area, passes through the opponent's legs, and strikes it into the far side, making it 3-1.
Aomori Yamada, who never gives up, diverted a long ball from the defender with a header in the 85th minute, calmly guiding the ball that fell behind the defensive line into the goal, making it 3-2.
After that, Tokyo, who continued to face fierce attacks, spent a long time in their own half, but they defended the goal with the captain's armband worn by Shinohara and Hasegawa, who put their bodies on the line.
Coach Sato on the bench encouraged the players on the pitch with a loud voice, displaying 3 minutes of additional time.
The Tokyo defense, which did not lose concentration until the end, endured and the final whistle of the match sounded.

And then, in order to be concerned about the results of other venues, the venue falls silent.
From a few seconds of silence, when we heard the results from other venues, a circle of joy spread across the field.

The first "Prince Takamado Cup U-18 Soccer League 2017 Premier League EAST" [Championship] for FC Tokyo U-18.
And they have secured a spot in the Prince Takamado Trophy U-18 Soccer League 2017 Championship.
