FC Tokyo's Basic Philosophy

We aim to achieve the realization of the following principles through a collaborative system between local communities, government, and businesses, and strive to create a truly "local J-League club for the citizens" from a long-term perspective.

  • Contribute to the healthy physical and mental development of youth and the health and joy of citizens through soccer, and contribute to the promotion of sports culture and the development of local communities, as well as international exchange and friendship.
  • In the future, we aim to create a club that focuses on "lifelong sports" that can contribute to the local community in both competitive sports and recreational activities, including sports other than soccer. This will be based on the organization of J-League clubs and will be achieved through its development and expansion.
  • Nurture a soccer team that is suitable for the capital Tokyo, which has become a symbol for the citizens and gives dreams to young people, create many fans among the citizens, and contribute to the development of a sense of solidarity among the citizens (sense of belonging to the local community) and the revitalization of the local community.
  • We strive to collaborate and cooperate with schools and local communities, focusing on soccer clinics, soccer schools, and various events, in order to promote and provide guidance for soccer activities to youth and citizens of all ages.
