Q: With the limited time available since the resumption of team activities, where do you focus your training?
First of all, we are preparing for the Avispa Fukuoka match and the Cerezo Osaka match, but we will have to play with a significantly limited squad in the Fukuoka match. We must keep in mind that many players who tested positive for COVID-19 have not yet returned. This match is also meant to restore the players' physical condition. Of course, we will not compromise our determination to win and we will continue to focus on establishing our playing style and growing. However, regarding the Fukuoka match, we consider it to be a readjustment for the league.
Q: What did you feel when you met the players for the first time in about a week and saw their expressions and movements, as you resumed team activities?
A, of course, I felt hungry to play and was filled with a desire to enjoy soccer again. I also sensed a positive attitude towards training.
Q, I think fans and supporters are eagerly awaiting the Tokyo match. Please leave a message.
A, as I have mentioned before, this season will be a difficult one. And there is no doubt that these difficulties have made the season even more challenging. However, I believe that by overcoming these challenges, we can become an even stronger team and come back stronger. Therefore, I hope you can patiently support the team and continue to support us as you have done so far. For the future of Tokyo, we are all fighting together. To all the fans and supporters, I hope you can support us with all your might.
