The fantasista who wore the number 10 at the prestigious Kashima Antlers has come to Tokyo with a strong determination. When talking about Ryotaro ARAKI, his exceptional attacking sense cannot be overlooked. His ideas and techniques shown in front of the goal are one of a kind, and he exudes absolute confidence in himself.
After making my professional debut in the 2020 season, I had been steadily gaining playing time and enjoying a fulfilling time. However, in the following two seasons starting from 2022, I experienced a series of injuries and poor physical condition, resulting in a significant decrease in playing opportunities and a period of misfortune. That is why my determination and passion for this season, in which I have made the decision to change my environment, are so strong, and that determination and resolve can be felt painfully in every word.
"Every season, I play with determination, so there is no major change in terms of my feelings and no anxiety about my first transfer. I have a lot of confidence that I can do it. It is true that I wanted to change my environment, and many people say it is a "comeback", but I feel like my performance has already returned and my body is still sharp, so I believe I can do it if I play in a game. I just want to play in a game as soon as possible."
His best position is attacking midfielder. He is confident in his abilities there and shows a strong desire to play in his preferred position. He strongly resonates with the style of football that coach Peter CKLAMOVSKI aims for, and he envisions himself dancing on the pitch wearing the number 71.
"I am greatly drawn to Peter's style. The coach often tells me to 'turn in the middle and face forward', and the things that are asked of me in meetings really match the soccer style that I want to play. I have to pursue it even more and I want to attack from the center of the pitch. Right now, I strongly want to produce results under Peter."
Taro, who is covered in ambition and hungry for victory. The attacker with strong determination leads the blue and red attack in the center of the pitch.
