[Player and Coach Comments]

A dramatic victory, a big upset on enemy territory with a huge comeback in the last 4 minutes!

As the culmination of the Spain expedition, the Juan ALANO Cup (Juan ALANO is a former star player of Deportivo La Coruña) was held. Tokyo, aspires to emulate Deportivo's tactics, and the players and staff, led by Coach Hara, were looking forward to seeing how well they could showcase their own style of football.

The game started with Tokyo aggressively attacking the opponent. On the other hand, Deportivo seemed to be cautiously defending, trying to figure out Tokyo's strength. Kelly displayed his full potential, evading both Sergio Duscher and Mark in the midfield and passing the ball to the front line. However, the strong defense line prevented any decisive opportunities. After 15 minutes, Deportivo gradually started to show their strength. Bareron appeared at crucial moments and made through passes. There were some dangerous situations, but our defense line, including Mr. Shioda, did not allow any scoring chances. The first half ended with a score of 0-0.

Deportivo makes substitutions when entering the second half. In the 17th minute, Muniz passes to Valeron in the center from the right side. Valeron plays a one-two with Tristan in the narrow space in front of the goal, and then passes a short through ball to Victor. Victor breaks through the defense line and scores the opening goal. However, in the immediate 18th minute, Baba plays a vertical through ball on the right side. Lucas receives it and switches to the inside, evading the defenders and shooting. The goalkeeper saves it, but it becomes an equalizing goal. After that, La Coruna aggressively attacks, thinking that they cannot end the game like this. In response, Tokyo substitutes tired players with fresh ones. Both teams create chances but fail to convert them, and it seems that the game will end in a draw and go to penalty kicks in the 41st minute. Lucas plays a through ball in front of the goal, but it is deflected by the defenders. However, Kajiyama reacts to the loose ball. He quickly steals it before the opponents and shoots in one touch. The shot, released from outside the penalty area, curves and grazes the goalkeeper's hand before being sucked into the goal. The dramatic comeback goal generates cheers from the stands and the empty bench. After that, for about 10 minutes including injury time, Deportivo launches a fierce attack, but Tokyo manages to hold on and the game ends. They achieve a remarkable victory by defeating a strong opponent on their home ground.
