[Player and Coach Comments]

Taichi HARA
(Looking back on the match)
"I couldn't fully demonstrate my play. I have a sense that I can do more. I feel frustrated that I couldn't do anything in the given time. I want to switch gears and prepare for the next match so that I can challenge myself more."

(Did you feel a difference in intensity in terms of playing compared to J3?)
"I don't feel much difference. The intensity in practice is higher than in the game. I want to continue building up from practice."

(I think I was expected to play a role in collecting the ball)
I had imagined a situation where I would collect the ball and Tagawa would actively make runs. I think we were able to create several attacking opportunities. However, we still have a long way to go. I believe we need to continue growing step by step from here.

Kyosuke TAGAWA
"It wasn't bad from the start of the first half, and there were also shooting opportunities. I think if we had been able to score a goal among them, the game would have been a little easier."

(There were several scoring opportunities for Tagawa in the first half)
"I came into today's match with the mindset of challenging more and hoping for a result. I felt that if I could improve my accuracy a little more, it would be great."

(He repeatedly pulled out the ball and connected it to a chance when the ball came)
"There were times when I was able to break through several times and go to the front of the goal, connecting to a chance while being conscious of bringing out my strengths. I want to make more efforts and sharpen my senses even more in the future."

(It was a chasing game, and I was thinking about how to attack)
"In the first half, there were times when the front line was isolated, and I felt that there were few attacks in collaboration with Player Gen. So, in the second half, I was conscious of that. Also, in the second half, there were many chances from cross balls, so I was thinking about entering there firmly and playing."

(The league and Levain Cup are still to come, so the battle is just beginning)
"The most important thing is the desire to get involved more and more, so I want to do my best to be able to demonstrate my strength in the given position."

"Tokyo - Summary of Coach Kenta HASEGAWA's Press Conference"
"I apologize for not being able to respond to the support of many fans and supporters who came to cheer us on. I think each player did their best, but I feel that as a team, it was Yamanashi that was fighting."
I think both teams were mainly composed of players who didn't have many opportunities to play, but the Kofu team fought with the feeling of "let's somehow defeat Tokyo" and I think the opponent was winning throughout the 90 minutes.
Today, the players who got the chance, I think each of them has various thoughts, but I hope they will grow from this defeat.

(What kind of thinking did you have to put a good ball into the front line?)
"Today, the fullbacks couldn't really push forward."
There were also parts where Ogawa had to go straight into the real thing, and there were also moments of uncertainty about how far he could go.
I think Okazaki was also in an unfamiliar position, but I don't think that's an excuse because it's the same for Kofu.
In that sense, I think there might have been more things to do, including my benchwork.
"We played a disappointing game today, including those aspects."

(How would you rate today's top two?)
"Regarding Tagawa, I think there were about three clear chances in the first half, but he couldn't convert them."
Even though it was the first time, I think they approached today's match with confidence after producing results in J3. But how much were they able to demonstrate that in the 60 minutes?
I think I understood my own ability in this official match, so I have to grow in terms of the quality of each play.

"Summary of Kofu - Akira ITO Coach Press Conference"
"In the first half, Tokyo put pressure on us, but we were able to play a game where we defended well and looked for counterattacks. We came into the game with the intention of finishing it in the first half, rather than just accepting the challenge. The players fought aggressively from the beginning. Especially in defense on the sides, both wingbacks were able to contain Tokyo's fullbacks."
In the second half, Tokyo aimed for the backside, but the three-backs solidly repelled them in the final moments. And then, young Kota MORI scored a goal for us."
