[Player and Coach Comments]

"Adailton"
"I thought today's game would be a difficult one, and it turned out exactly that way. There were several players who made their first appearance in this tournament, but I think everyone gave more than 100% of their abilities. It was a victory that we won together. Let's rest well and prepare for the final tournament."

(How did you approach the game?)
"There was a player who started for the first time in this tournament, including me, but we have prepared so that we can achieve good results no matter who plays. It was good to win with the power of the whole team."

(Looking back at the goal scene)
"I was able to calmly score while dribbling and carefully observing the GK's situation because I received a good pass from Player Honda."

《Keigo HIGASHI Player》
We ended the group stage with a victory. Looking back on the game, "Players who haven't played so far have started and the whole team fought together. The situation in Shanghai was also a factor, but I think it was very important that we won and advanced to the next round."

(Looking back at the scene of the opening goal)
"Adailton made a good run and Hideta passed the ball at the right moment, and he scored the goal for us."
However, there were still other opportunities, so I have to make them count. Nevertheless, I think it was good that we were able to advance to the next round today."

(After taking the lead, the game became a close contest. What kind of discussion did you have as a team?)
"The opponent, although they haven't won in this tournament, we knew they had talented players and respected them as a good team."
There were times when we were under pressure, but it was good that we managed to hold on and win without conceding any goals.

(Enthusiasm for the next match has been decided to advance to the final tournament)
"I want to do my best to play as many games as possible here in Qatar. I want to do my best to show Tokyo fans and supporters who are cheering in front of the TV many games."

Tsuyoshi WATANABE
(What kind of response did you have in mind when you were under attack?)
"In this tournament, every team will score if given the opportunity, so we were conscious of not giving any openings by communicating and defending during the time we had to endure."

(Although he was leading the DF line, what was the feeling?)
"They were a strong opponent, so I thought it was important to communicate and defend together as a team. I think we were able to defend well by communicating with Niwa and others."

(Did you know the results of other venues during the game?)
"I didn't know. I expected Shanghai to play a game to score points, but I wasn't concerned about it during our game."

(Towards the Final Tournament)
"I cannot afford to lose. If I have the opportunity to participate, I want to fight firmly and seize as many victories as possible."

"Tokyo - Summary of Coach Kenta HASEGAWA's Press Conference"
"Today, the players who had fewer opportunities to play created the game. Especially, Adailton's opening goal gave courage to the team."
Although he was concerned about the results of the other venues, he wanted to secure the next point and ensure advancement to the group stage, but he was not allowed to have an easy match.
"I want to thank all the players for their hard work for the team's victory throughout the group stage."

(What was the intention behind changing the members, such as using players who are making their first appearance in this tournament?)
"I mentioned in a previous press conference that 'I can confidently send out all the players who are accompanying us to the game.' I believed that fresh players would be able to exert their strength more than players who are fatigued from consecutive matches. The players trusted me, and they responded to that trust."

(The sense of accomplishment that we were able to win in a match where we changed the members)
"We lost to Ulsan Hyundai FC and there were parts where we thought it would be difficult to advance to the group stage. However, we were able to rise again and secure a spot in the final tournament. We have nothing to lose, so we want to approach the next match with determination."

(What are your thoughts on the defensive players?)
"In addition to the young players, experienced player Takumi Niwa performed well and led the team. All four players played wonderfully. I think young players can gain great confidence not only from experience but also from winning. By advancing to the final tournament, they can gain even more experience. I hope to see further growth there."

(What kind of message did you give to the players who made their first appearance in this tournament?)
"I told them to go for it and sent them off."

"Perth Glory, Garcia Coach Press Conference Summary"
"Today's result was not a happy one."
After the resumption of the ACL, we have played 5 matches in just 2 days, which has been extremely challenging. We have made various efforts to win, but we believed that today's opponent was the strongest.

Tokyo played very well and deserved to win.
I think the players from Perth were able to concentrate and play until the end.
