League final match! Want to win and improve our ranking even a little

The final match of the J1 League was an away game against Oita Trinita. The previous match was against Urawa, where the championship was at stake, but we managed to prevent them from celebrating right in front of us. The result was a scoreless draw, but we defensively held off Urawa and pushed them to the brink of defeat. This match is attracting attention for the championship race and the promotion and relegation battle between J1 and J2. However, as Tokyo, we will fight this match with all our might for victory! For the fans who have come from far away, nothing less than a victory will do.

Oita, on the other hand, is currently in 7th place. In November, they suffered three consecutive losses against Nagoya, Kofu, and Omiya, but in the previous match, they secured a solid victory against Yokohama FM, showing signs of recovery. Especially today, it is the final home game, so they should have a strong determination to win. Coach Kuramata is wary of FW Rafael's post-play and the speedy FW Matsubashi running into the gaps. It is necessary to prevent these two players from having freedom with strict man-marking. MF Edmilson and Tulio, both central midfielders, will be the key players in both attack and defense. In particular, MF Edmilson's forward runs should be carefully watched.

Tokyo, Hirayama is absent due to participation in the Asia Games. Baba is suspended for accumulated warnings. In his place, Kurisawa will start as a member. "It's been a while since I played, but I want to go all out from the beginning. I feel like I've prepared well so far, and I have an image of how to play in the team, such as making simple passes and making runs into space," he confidently says. Oita will play in a 3-5-2 formation, with both wing-backs attacking from high positions. As a strategy, we should aim to dominate the sides like we did in the Urawa game and aggressively make moves to create opportunities to win. We want to score goals from our passionate play.

No matter what, we want to win the last league match with a Tokyo-like battle and carry it over to the Emperor's Cup that follows. This match will also be important in determining the future. The game started at 2:04 pm with a kickoff in Oita, under a cloudy sky with a cold wind blowing and a light drizzle starting to fall.
