Aiming for a courageous victory against the formidable Gamba Osaka

　In the 8th round of the league, we played against Gamba Osaka away. In the previous round against Kyoto, the match ended in a draw, and we have not been able to achieve a victory in the league since the match against Omiya on March 28th. Especially in terms of attack, the number of goals scored is low, and we have been unable to play the soccer we want, continuing to have frustrating battles. Coach Jofuku reflects, "It's not that the players' motivation is low or that they don't have the desire. It's just that they haven't been able to generate the energy for victory." 　At the beginning, both teams cautiously entered the game, trying to find their rhythm from their own style of play. As neither team forced the issue, the game continued with a back-and-forth exchange. In the 8th minute, Ricardinho dribbled up the center of the opponent's half and took a shot, but the goalkeeper caught it. 　G大阪は後半からFWルーカス、MF遠藤を投入。4-4-2の布陣に変えてきた。しかし後半の立ち上がりに決定機をつくったのは東京だった。51分に石川が右サイドを突破し、中央のリカルジーニョへピタリとクロスを送る。しかしリカルジーニョは合わせることができず…。55分には長友がG大阪MF安田理に競り勝ちライン際まで突破。中央にマイナスのパスを送るが打ち切れず。クリアを拾ったキム ヨングンが強烈なミドルを放つが、DFに阻まれる。 　リズムを掴みきろうと、59分には梶山、重松がイン。61分にはキム ヨングンから前線へのロングフィードを平山が頭で落とし、石川が右エリアから狙い澄ましたシュートを放つが、わずかに左に切れて…。チャンスを逃し続ける中で迎えた66分、G大阪FWルーカスが東京陣内・左寄りからミドルを放つ。ボールは権田の手元で変化したようにこぼれてネットにイン。先制を許してしまった。 　この得点でリズムに乗ったG大阪は、ルーカスを起点に勢いのある攻撃を仕掛ける。その後、東京も鈴木を投入するが、75分には東京DFがFWルーカスに入ったボールをクリアし切れず、ゴール前に転がったボールをFW宇佐美に詰められる。シュートは一度は権田がセーブするが、こぼれたボールをMF遠藤が巧みにつなぎ、FW宇佐美に決められる。反撃に出る東京もキム ヨングンの強烈なミドルや、CKのこぼれから梶山がゴールを狙ったが、結局無得点で悔しい敗戦を喫した。 　【選手コメント】《梶山》「自分が出場してから失点してしまったし、時間帯としても、こちらが流れを掴みきれない時間に取られてしまった。ただ、チャンスに決めないとこういうことになるという当然の結果なのかもしれない…。ゴール前で相手をワイドに広げたり、縦にも間延びさせたり…という仕掛けを、もう少しバランスよくできれば、もっとリズムは出ると思う。城福監督のもとで3年目、みんなつなぐことはできてきたという手応えはある。そこからつなぎながらも、最後のところで点を取らないと…。ゴール前でのプレーに自分も絡んで、みんなでゴールを取りたい。試合に出られなかったことは、自分が一番悔しかった。その悔しさをピッチの上でプレーに変えて頑張りたい。(足の状態は？)途中出場で、難しい展開ではあったが、ボール感覚は徐々によくなってきている。試合中では何も気にならなかったが、明日リバウンドが出ないように、しっかりとケアしたい。そして少しずつ出場時間を延ばしていきたい」《キム ヨングン》「悔しかったし、残念だった。でももっと戦いたい気持ちもあって、試合後は少し立ち上がれなかった…。(積極的にミドルやFKも狙っていったが？)チームとしてシュートが少ないとも感じたので、自分が許される範囲では積極的に狙ったが…。もっと精度を高められるようにしていきたい」 　【城福監督の会見要旨】「昨年ここですごく悔しい思いをしているので、選手とともに我々は、考えうるベストな準備をして今日戦いましたけれど、結果として0対2であったということは、受け止めなければいけないと思います。ゲームの内容は、前半はある意味では我々のプラン通りになりましたが、両チームのエリア内の精度の差がそのままスコアに出たと思います。今週末で順位が何位になるか分かりませんが、おそらく今現在の順位が我々のエリアの中の内容であり、エリアの中の精度が、今の順位であると受け止めなければいけない。どれだけいい形を作っても、その手前までボールを運んでも、そこの精度がないということが今の我々の現実だと。それを選手とともに取り組んでいきたいと思います。なかには考えられないシュートミスもありましたが、そこの部分も含めて、我々の実力であるという受け止め方をしたいと思います」 　【G大阪・西野監督の会見要旨】「前半は拮抗というよりは、凡戦というか、攻め手の糸口がなかなか見つからなかった。迫力ある攻撃を受けなかったのが幸いしましたけれど、流れとしてはオフェンスの面で、なかなかうまく機能しなかった。万全ではないですけれど思い切って2人をスイッチした中で、FC東京のリズムにも助けられましたけれど、一人ずつ落ち着いてボールを動かせて、展開できている感じはしました。ロングフィードが多過ぎた前半だったので、ハーフタイムに落ち着いて、自信持って組み立てから自分たちのテンポを取り戻すように、少し遅れてもしっかりボールを動かしていくと。やっとかなりいいアクセントになってボールをさばけた。好機はかなり少なかったですけれど、そういう中でもしっかり点を取って結果を出したことに、ほっとしてはいます。二人(MF遠藤・FWルーカス)に関しても、45分通してはまだまだと感じますし、全体的な流れも少し上げていかなければならないかなと。タカシ(FW宇佐美)も意欲的に狙った中での得点だったと思うし、いいプラス材料も少しは見えてきたかなと思います」
