[Player and Coach Comments]

It was a victory that the fans, supporters, players, and staff all came together and achieved.

FC Tokyo U-23, which is currently in last place with 1 win, 3 draws, 6 losses, and 6 points, has finished 10 matches in the 2016 Meiji Yasuda J3 League.
In the 11th round, AC Nagano Parceiro, who is currently in 4th place with 18 points, will play at their home stadium "Minami Nagano Sports Park Comprehensive Ball Game Stadium".
Tokyo's starting eleven has Go HATANO, who will make his J3 League debut as the goalkeeper.
The DF line consists of YANAGI, SUZUKI, and OKAZAKI from right to left.
In the midfield, Nozawa is positioned as an anchor, with Yukino and Sasaki as inside halves.
Both WBs, Komano and Koyama, have just been registered as special designated players, with Koyama on the left side.
The front line is composed of Hiraoka and Insoo YU in a 3-5-2 formation.
Nagano, who will face them, has Kondo, who has also played for FC Tokyo, on the front line, as well as the experienced Arata.
In the center back position, Handa is stationed to solidify the center line with experienced players, forming a 4-4-2 formation.
Team known for powerful attacks from long balls.
Approached the game with about 100 fans and supporters watching from the Tokyo goal end and main stand.

【First Half】
Tokyo was the team that dominated the game in the first half.
Although Nagano had some time to dominate the ball at the beginning, Yagi and Okazaki pressed hard against Nagano's top two and did not give them any freedom.
Everyone concentrates on picking up the second ball even against the opponent's long ball, and grasping the flow.
Tokyo, as Yukino receives the ball and starts creating rhythm, approaches the goal from the left side.
The first chance came in the 13th minute, with Suzuki from the defensive line carrying the ball to the midfield and passing it vertically to Insoo YU.
When connected to Koyama, Koyama passes to Sasaki who is positioned outside the penalty area of Grampus, and he aims for the goal with his right foot but it goes to the right of the frame.
Furthermore, at the 17th minute, Koyama, who had entered from the left side, receives a vertical pass.
Tasuku Hiraoka timely jumps out behind this, but the opponent's goalkeeper jumps out slightly earlier and catches it.
Tokyo continued to connect the ball while changing positions, not allowing Nagano's defense to focus on their target.
In the midfield, the battle for the ball continues, and Tokyo takes the lead with a goal from the restart.
31 minutes, when he received a foul on the left side of the opponent's central area, Yukino quickly restarted.
Insoo YU breaks through vertically and enters the penalty area with a dribble. As the angle disappears from the left side, he twists it into the far side with his left foot.
Tokyo, which further strengthens its offensive, immediately breaks through with Komano and Hiraoka's one-two from the right side and sends a minus cross from Granda to the center.
Sasaki jumps in here and tries to connect with a right-footed direct shot, but misses the target, missing the chance for an additional point.
Tokyo, riding on momentum, skillfully uses both long and short passes to launch attacks.
The goal was approached with intricate passing at the 40th minute.
Riku NOZAWA and other Sasaki players work on breaking down the opponent's defense by connecting precise passes in the central area of the opponent's half.
In the end, Nozawa connected with Yukino, but Yukino's powerful long shot was blocked by the opponent's goalkeeper.
In the 43rd minute, Insoo YU received a long pass from Okazaki on the left side while drifting.
This is surrounded and crushed by two opposing DFs, but Tokyo launches a variety of attacks.
In the latter part of the first half, despite allowing crosses in front of the goal from free kicks and other situations, the defense repelled them and went into halftime with a 1-0 lead.

【Halftime】
Coach Yasuma's comment
"We need to maintain the same level of focus and coordination in defense as we did in the first half. Let's enter the game with a strong determination. We will definitely win and return home."

【Second half】
Both teams entered the second half without making any substitutions.
Tokyo wanted to dominate the game as they did in the first half, but in the beginning, HIRAOKA took a shot from the right side of the penalty area that hit the post, and the momentum shifted to Nagano without being able to score an additional goal.
Nagano kicks long balls towards the two forwards from near the center line and from low positions on both sides.
In response to this, Tokyo's DF line was not pushed up, and everyone entered their own territory, with the DF line also stationed in front of the penalty area, continuously bouncing back.
58 minutes, a early cross from the right side is met on the far side, but Go HATANO stretches his body and defends well.
They continued to be pushed back, and gradually the distance between the midfield and the forward line widened, making it difficult to hold onto the ball even when entrusted to the forward line.
Tokyo tries to change the flow by bringing in Uchida, but it doesn't change easily.
Nagano also substitutes the two players in the front line and increases the pressure.
In the 72nd minute, the ball was stolen in the midfield and we were countered, but Yukino returned and dealt with it over a long distance.
Stay focused and continue to persevere together.
In the 77th minute, Yukino's leg cramped and he went off the pitch. Tokyo, who has used all of their substitution players, is defending with 10 players.
Furthermore, goalkeeper Go HATANO maximized his weapon of height against Nagano, who was intensifying their offensive.
77 minutes, he punches away the opponent's high middle shot.
Furthermore, in the 79th minute, Nagano U adopted a tactic of crowding the goal area in response to the opponent's right corner kick, but Go HATANO caught the cross.
Continuing, in the 81st minute, Hatano jumps out to catch a long ball from the shallow left side position, just before the penalty area. This demonstrates the breadth of his defensive range.
Tokyo, who endured with everyone including Insoo YU and Riku NOZAWA, also had Yukino return to the pitch and defended while their legs cramped.
Kono received his second yellow card of the day and was sent off in the 90+1st minute.
Tokyo, which withstands with 10 players, creates a decisive chance for Nagano in additional time, but Hatano makes a great save.
We persevered until the end together and secured our second victory.

Thank you very much for your passionate support for FC Tokyo U-23 today.
Thank you for your continued warm support.

[Summary of Manager Yasuma's Press Conference]

"First of all, I am proud of the players who took on this match without any excuses, including those who participated in the club youth championship the day before and those who trained with the opponents of the top team."
Also, among the home games against J1 Gamba Osaka, I am truly grateful to the fans and supporters who chose to support our game, and for the sake of those fans, I entered this game with the determination to win.
I think that feeling was solidified and led to this result.
The match was able to unfold with a spectacular football, slightly changing its form from usual.
In the second half, I thought that long balls would come from somewhere at some point, but we were attacked with long balls from the start of the second half. Although our defensive line became low against the opponent's strong point, the young players defended while entrusting their bodies until the very end, not only showing their skill in preventing the shooting path but also showing that this kind of development is necessary in a match. I think it was a game that was significant for the future players.
The scoring scene was a quick start, but I think it was a play that had a strong intention to both receive and give, and it was unexpected. I think it was good that I was able to demonstrate the strength of individuality to dribble and initiate on my own.
Above all, when I see the players coming together after scoring or after the game, it shows that even though we can't practice as a team, we communicate within the given time and build it up. I want to continue to make even better games and strive every day to meet the expectations of the fans and supporters who come to watch."

【Player Comment】
《Go Hatano》
"It was my debut match, but I was able to approach it in my usual condition, with the same preparation as always."
We were able to actively challenge high balls by continuously voicing throughout the game to the defense.
However, we have identified some challenges and would like to practice and make adjustments, especially in finer aspects of positioning.
As a team, the opponent's attack relied heavily on long balls, but we were able to effectively repel them and pick up second balls, so we never felt like we were going to concede goals throughout the match.
(What is your enthusiasm for the next match?) I want to contribute to the team's victory without conceding any goals."
