[Player and Coach Comments]

The 19th round of the 2016 Meiji Yasuda J3 League, which was a series of home games, was a match against Gainare Tottori at Ajinomoto Field Nishigaoka.

With the change of the TOP team's coach, Coach Yasuma became a full-time coach for the TOP team, and Tadashi Nakamura, the coach of FC Tokyo U-18, assumed the position of coach.
The starting eleven in Tokyo consists of Enomoto as the goalkeeper.
The DF line consists of HIRAOKA, YAMADA, OKAZAKI, and SASAKI from the right.
Riku NOZAWA will take the anchor position, while Hayashi and Insoo YU will play as inside halves.
In the front line, Suzuki (Kaoru), Yajima, and Matsuoka line up in a 4-3-3 formation.
Ben Tanaka, who made his first appearance in an official match for FC Tokyo, is preparing on the bench.
Tottori is lined up in a 4-4-2 formation, just like in the previous match.
Atsushi MAEDA, who was also a member of FC Tokyo, joined the front line, making the team known for its hard work as a whole.
Bench includes FERNANDINHO and BART JUNIOR, who made his first appearance in the squad.
The rain fell before the match, but it stopped by kick-off time and started with Tottori's kick-off in the slightly humid weather.

【First Half】
Both teams are pressuring the goal from the beginning.
52 seconds, Hiraoka crosses from the right side and the Tottori defense clears it.
Lin picks up this ball outside the PA and aims for the goal from a half bounce, but the driven shot is saved by the goalkeeper.
Tottori also breaks through the center immediately and approaches the goal, but Enomoto blocks it.
Both teams are forming compact formations and struggling to build up against the opponent, making it difficult to create shooting opportunities in their own half.
As time goes on, Tottori gains more control of the ball and Tokyo looks for chances on the counter.
Among them, Tokyo quickly switches after losing the ball and does not give Tottori freedom.
Despite the water break, the stalemate remains unchanged, with both teams advancing the ball towards the penalty area but failing to convert the final shot or slightly misplacing passes.
Tokyo, who still wants to break the deadlock, passes the ball to Yajima with a wedge, and multiple players try to break through the Tottori defense but fail to break through.
Tokyo, which created a chance in the final stage, scored in the 42nd minute.
In the central left side, Insoo YU quickly restarted by running along the sideline when getting a free kick.
Here, Matsoka flows vertically and sends a cross from Grander to the center, but Hayashi is blocked by the Tottori defense.
Sasaki picks up this loose ball and shoots a middle in front of the opposing DF, but it misses the target and goes to the right of the frame.
In the additional time of 45+1 minutes, a long pass from the right side reaches Sasaki, who has entered deeply on the left side.
When this is passed back to Insoo YU in the center outside the PA, he momentarily shakes off the opponent and shoots with his left foot, but it goes wide of the goal.
In the first half, Tokyo had 5 shots, while Tottori had 3 shots.

【Halftime】
Coach Nakamura's comment
"Since everyone is able to play aggressively, let's continue."
Raise the position of stealing the ball and make good use of the sides.

【Second half】
Both teams continued without making substitutions and started the second half with a proactive start.
Immediately after the kickoff, Insoo YU broke through the center alone with speed.
When this is stopped by a foul, Sasaki aims directly for the goal but misses the target.
Tottori also threatened the goal by breaking through the left side in the 47th minute, but Enomoto came out to the edge of the penalty area and made a one-on-one save with his foot against the opponent.
Defend the goalmouth.
From around 5 minutes into the second half, the game started to accelerate and there was an increase in attacks and defenses near the goal.
Tokyo expands greatly from the center of the midfield to the right side in 55 minutes, and Hiraoka initiates a move and earns a right corner kick from Insoo YU in the middle.
Furthermore, in the 57th minute, Hiraoka, who opened up on the right side, put in an early cross but it didn't connect with his teammate.
In defense, Okazaki covers the right side with a sliding tackle in the 58th minute. He doesn't lose concentration.
Then an accident happens to Tokyo.
62 minutes, Yamada cramped his leg and was substituted directly from the goalmouth scramble.
When Hanaya is brought in, Nozawa and Okazaki become CB. Lin is positioned as an anchor, and Insoo YU and Hanaya become inside halves.
Switching to Brazilian players as the strike duo before and after this, Tottori allowed those two to score.
65 minutes, Tottori right side throw-in flow, allowing the breakthrough of the two top players and entering the penalty area.
Allowing the opponent to score first from around the right diagonal 45 degrees at the far side.
After that, the development within Tokyo's team continued, and time passed without being able to push back.
However, gradually taking the initiative, they begin to attack the Tottori defense.
73 minutes, Matsumura steals the ball in their own half and launches a counterattack, sprinting up the center, but unable to resist committing a foul.
Insoo YU launches a powerful shot with a direct free kick in front of the goal, but is blocked by the goalkeeper's excellent save.
Tokyo, who is increasing their offensive pressure, also had Sasaki cut in from the left side and take a shot in the 80th minute, but it was denied by the post.
Suzuki (Iku) picks up this loose ball and crosses it far from the right side of the PA, but the Tottori defense throws their bodies in and misses the chance.
In the 81st minute, Yajima shoots from the center, but the Tottori GK makes a good save.
Tokyo accelerates its momentum by incorporating Uchida and Nama, and in the 82nd minute, Uchida breaks through the right side vertically and puts a sharp cross in the center.
Hanyatani jumps in freely here, but his powerful header fails to shake the net.
Continuing to approach the goal without giving up until the end, but unable to break through the Tottori defense, the game ended like this.
Lost 0-1 and suffered consecutive defeats

Thank you for your continued warm support.

[Summary and Comments from Coach Nakamura's Press Conference]
First of all, regarding the result, I really wanted to win and make the team win.
Because all the players had the consciousness of connecting the ball that the player promised first to the goal.
Without anyone walking to the goal, without anyone slacking off, without hiding, the players showed a commitment to receive the ball and carry it to the goal, and they really showed an attitude of valuing the ball as they headed towards the goal.
In that sense, I was very frustrated that I couldn't win, and I think the players were also very frustrated.
(I think there were also players in unfamiliar positions?) We have arranged the positions so that each player can demonstrate their individual strengths, even in unfamiliar positions, in order to make the most of their unique characteristics.
I think I was able to play the game without feeling much discomfort.
(The number of times we approached a goal in the second half increased) By moving the ball, we thought that the opponent would also get tired in this heat, and our strength is being able to move the ball.
However, regarding the second half, we discussed not only moving the ball but also aiming for more goals.
(I think I made you feel frustrated by not being able to win today, despite coming in the scorching heat with enthusiasm for the next match.)
Next match is away, but we will do our best to achieve both the result and performance.

【Player Comment】
《Hanaya》
"Today, I was able to join the team for the first time. From the outside, I think the way we entered the game was not bad. While watching, I was imagining how I would enter the game from the middle."
I think I was able to enter the game in a good image when I actually participated from the middle. Although it was a different position from usual, I think I was able to show some moves around the penalty area, which is my strength.
(Although I came on as a substitute and was involved in scoring opportunities even in an unfamiliar position) I have always made sure to prepare myself to not stop my feet when it comes to heading situations, since my time playing in the U-18. I was able to shake off my marker and it was just a matter of finishing properly, so I am extremely frustrated.
(It was my J-League debut match at FC Tokyo) Honestly, I was a little nervous at first, but as I kept playing, I got used to it and was able to show my strengths. Personally, I think it was a good debut match.
"(I'm excited for the next match) If I have a chance to be in the lineup for the next match, I want to show my strengths and score a goal this time."
