【Player/Coach Comments】
"Masato MORISHIGE Player"
"We won 2-0, but it was not a good game."
It is significant to have gained 3 points, but I do not want to increase the number of games like this...
However, there are good times and bad times for the team during the season.
It was good that we managed to hold on and pick up a win, rather than conceding a goal due to neglecting our defense.
I think it is most important to accumulate points persistently throughout the season like this.
In the first half, everyone, including Yojiro TAKAHAGI, was vocal, and I was able to play without panicking.
I think the way we fought as a team was clear.
Although it is a two-game winning streak, it is meaningless if we don't continue.
"I think we need to prove various things throughout the season, such as changes as a team and becoming stronger."
"Yojiro Takahagi Player"
"Personally, I thought the first half was going well with that development. We didn't let the opponent create any scoring opportunities, so when we won the ball, we tried to go for a counterattack. Towards the end of the first half, we were able to launch several counterattacks."
If the defensive midfielder had dropped back to receive the ball, we might have been able to improve our rhythm, but I deliberately refrained from doing so and instead tried to win the second ball by being patient.
In the second half, the opponent created space, so I also entered the defensive line to become a starting point and increased my awareness of moving up to the front line and providing support from there.
In the scene that led to the first corner kick, Kensuke's voice could be heard. While looking around the field, I was a little unsure of where to send the ball, but Kensuke is fast, so even if it's not precise, if I release it quickly, he will catch up (laughs). I think if we increase scenes like that, the opponents will dislike it more. Of course, we shouldn't rely on that alone.
You can't suddenly become a team with a specialty in "attacking the goal".
I think FC Tokyo's strong defense gives them confidence.
It was a game where we were trying to score 1 point, 2 points... while keeping the goals conceded to zero.
"Summary of Yoshiyuki SHINODA's press conference"
"I'm relieved that we were able to win, but we made the game difficult for ourselves. In the first half, we relied too much on long balls, but we were able to hold on without conceding any goals."
In the second half, by everyone's efforts to increase the tempo, we were able to reach the goal area more frequently, and by scoring first from a set play, we were able to take control of the game.
There was a period of time when we were pushed back even after scoring points, but it was good that we were able to secure 3 points.
"Summary of Omiya - Hiroki Shibuya's Press Conference"
"Today, despite the fact that many fans and supporters gathered at Ajinomoto Stadium, we were defeated. We were defeated in a similar time frame as the previous match, and I truly feel sorry for showing the form of a defeat."
Regarding the game, I was able to respond well to FC Tokyo's long ball and second ball strategies, and I was able to move the ball to some extent. However, I felt that in order to score, I need to incorporate a more thorough attacking style myself.
I think there were some parts where I was delayed because I had too many moves even in places where it seemed like a chance, but I wonder if there would be a scoring opportunity if there was a more thorough attacking form.
As the current flow, we need to learn more about playing in certain time zones because we have conceded goals from set plays, lost second balls, and allowed goals in stoppage time.
However, the players are working hard to score goals and finish the game without conceding any, so we have no choice but to continue doing that. We want to score someday and be able to defend with a goal difference of 0, so we will prepare well and face next week's game at home."
