【Player/Coach Comments】
"Sei MUROYA"
"Overall, we were outplayed by Gamba Osaka and couldn't execute our game plan. However, there's no need to dwell on it and we have another game coming up soon, so we need to switch our focus. I think we need to learn from this loss and use it as a lesson to adjust for the next game."
I tried to take a high position on the side and become a starting point, but I couldn't quite make it there.
Today's game had many opportunities to receive short counters, making it difficult to advance positions. I think it would have been better if we could have created a pace together with a little more composure.
I wanted to increase the opportunities to enter the attacking third and change the flow no matter what, and even if I failed in my own area, I tried to challenge. I want to continue this in the future."
Akihiro HAYASHI
"All three goals were easy goals, and many people felt that way. The first goal is a part that we need to discuss and tighten up within the team, but we have to delay or avoid the risk when the opponent's midfielder receives the ball behind us."
I think the second goal could have been prevented if we changed our approach. The third goal was a result of a delayed reaction to the second ball, but I thought it was a good opportunity for me to challenge a bit more.
I think it's not that serious because we were able to discuss solutions immediately after the game with the three goals conceded. However, I don't think everyone is doing well in the attacking part. I think we need to continue to improve by connecting the defense and the attacking part well in the future.
"Summary of Yoshiyuki SHINODA's press conference"
"I feel very disappointed because we lost with a score of 0-3."
There were noticeable mistakes at crucial moments, and we still lacked until the final goal. I think we could have done a little more in terms of attacking the opponent's defensive line, receiving the ball in between and facing forward, and challenging.
"I want us all to think about how we can turn this defeat that we brought upon ourselves into the next step."
"Summary of G Osaka Manager Kentaro Hasegawa's Press Conference"
"I think the players gave us a very intense match. There's nothing more to say."
In the first half, there were some mistakes, but we talked about covering for each other even if mistakes were made, and I think we showed that attitude from the first half. Higashi (Higashiguchi) also stopped a penalty kick for the first time, and when there is such a big play, it gives a lot of courage and strength to the surrounding players.
I think that's why the third goal was scored, and it became a game like this because everyone fought and expressed their feelings.
