【Player/Coach Comments】
"Ryoya OGAWA"
"It wasn't a bad overall game, but it was a match where our weak points were exposed due to goals conceded from set pieces and crosses."
(What is the difference between before and after conceding a goal?) Before conceding a goal, we had the consciousness of constantly moving forward and were able to create many chances. However, after conceding a goal, we were pushed back by the opponent and became a bit passive.
It might have been good to have more players breaking through the defense.
(Although it was above the team's average age?) Normally, I think that myself and Yamada should take on the roles that players like Okubo and Morishige play in J1, in J3.
I think I need to become the spiritual center of the team in those areas.
(What is your enthusiasm for the next match?) I think it's not good to keep losing, so I want to fight with everyone, focusing firmly.
Takahiro YANAGI
"The opponent pressed us from the beginning of the match, making it a difficult situation. However, we had to endure and keep the first half scoreless."
I think it was a waste of a mistake to concede from our own set plays, which is our challenge.
(What is the difference between last year and this year in your second year?) I think that in my second year, having one year of experience, I need to start speaking up and leading the players around me.
(What is your enthusiasm for the next match?) I will fix the issues that arose from this match's result and definitely aim to win the next game."
"Summary of Coach Tadashi NAKAMURA's Press Conference"
"We entered the game with a sense of gratitude as many fans and supporters came to the opening match. Unfortunately, we were defeated 0-2 and couldn't share the joy."
Regarding the match, I keenly felt that we still have a long way to go in terms of individual aspects, and we have not yet reached the point of the team's concept of "each individual gaining strength and entering J1".
A little one-on-one competition and reaction. Strength in ball contests. Each individual needs to strengthen themselves in these areas, otherwise we often end up losing the ball to the opponent in crucial moments.
The goals conceded were also the result of battles in set plays and crosses.
In terms of the attacking aspect, we had several opportunities to score but ultimately couldn't find the back of the net. We would like to continue training, including addressing this issue.
