【Player/Coach Comments】
"Masayuki YAMADA"
"We were able to continue our momentum in the first half, enjoy ourselves, and score goals, and finish."
In the second half, we became passive due to the opponent's aggressive play, and as a result, the team as a whole did not have a shared understanding.
However, everyone there also put their bodies on the line, aligned their feelings, and were able to keep a clean sheet and win.
(How has your play improved compared to the beginning of the season?)
Thanks to the accumulation of experience gained in every match, I have gained confidence in a positive way.
I think we need to pay more attention to our surroundings and broaden our perspective.
In J1, the speed is faster and the level is higher, so I always focus on that and strive to play in a way that can overwhelm the surroundings even in J3.
(How has your mindset changed as captain?)
I think I have been entrusted with the captaincy because I am the oldest player, and compared to the first game, communication within the team has increased.
I hope that as the players who are playing in the top team take the lead in pulling the team, they will continue to improve while accumulating games.
(Towards the next match)
The players in the defense line will continue to be conscious of not conceding any goals, while the players in the front will try to score more goals and we also want to win the next game for sure."
Takefusa KUBO
"Today's match was a back-and-forth battle, with both teams taking turns attacking and changing the momentum of the game multiple times."
I think we were able to achieve a good game as a team by winning with a shutout of 1-0.
(How about your own play?)
I have had the experience of playing several games in J3, and I feel that the time to play has increased day by day, and my skills have gradually improved. I also feel that it is a stage where the challenges become clear.
Today, I feel relieved both mentally and emotionally by scoring a goal.
We would like to express our gratitude once again to all the fans and supporters who have been watching over us until now.
(What was the scoring scene?)
I was hesitating whether to pass to Uchida player when I got in between the three defenders, but Uchida player drew the opponent's attention, creating space inside, so I was able to carry the ball myself.
I was surprised when the shot was scored in a situation where all that was left was to shoot, but it felt like "I did it".
(For the next match)
I would like to show the fans and supporters the kind of play that can contribute to the team's victory in the next match, so thank you for your continued support.
"Summary of Coach Tadashi NAKAMURA's Press Conference"
"First of all, I would like to express my gratitude to all the fans and supporters who came all the way to Away Osaka."
Thank you for allowing us to play the game in very good ground condition among young teams.
We conveyed the message to the players to play an energetic game as there are top J1 teams in the U-23 team and strive for victory.
Actually, there were many scenes where we were pushed back in the first 20 minutes of the game, but as time went on, we were able to move the ball in our own way and somehow create chances.
Among them, Kubo was able to firmly score his first goal and turn the first half around with a score of 1-0.
In the second half, while the team's performance was slowing down, the opponent created scoring opportunities. Today, we made a promise to win with 3 points together and entered the field.
We were able to somehow hold back the GK and DF and achieve victory.
