【Player/Coach Comments】
Akihiro HAYASHI
"It's really disappointing and frustrating to concede a goal."
In terms of goals conceded, I think there were two mistakes in two situations.
One is about the sense of distance and preparation in front of the goal.
If we had been more aware of the opponent's strength and speed from the beginning, we should have been able to create distance and prepare ourselves, including adjusting our body position.
Another thing is that we couldn't completely suppress the opponent in the battle for attack.
We were unable to press effectively and were attacked all the way to our goal.
However, there were two mistakes, but I think there was a chance to catch up with that aside.
Our team now feels a strong potential to change and should change.
The front line should be more aggressive, the back should be stronger, and everyone should be able to change together. In that sense, it was a game with a sense of accomplishment."

"It's frustrating to lose. Especially because we couldn't score..."
(Regarding today's attacking aspect)
I was conscious of both aggressively launching short counters after winning the ball and calmly targeting the opponent's back while passing the ball. Personally, I also made an effort to make use of the players' individual strengths on the pitch.
There were actually chances, but I think the final accuracy is the issue.
I had a great shooting opportunity at the beginning and I regret not taking it properly there.
We have discussed as a team how to fight in this match. I think the foundation has been established.
However, we cannot win if we do not score. Let's discuss this again and make it a challenge for the next game.
"Summary of Coach Yoshiyuki SHINODA's Press Conference"
"Losing any game is truly frustrating and there are indescribable emotions, but I want to think positively and move forward considering various things. The supporters also supported us until the end, but unfortunately, we couldn't give them the gift of victory."
The game, I think we were able to press the opponent well from the beginning, and we also had several scoring opportunities, but the game is determined by whether we can convert those opportunities into goals or not, and on the contrary, we allowed the opponent to score a goal from their one chance or counterattack, so I think we still have a long way to go. However, compared to the previous defeat, there are various things that can be seen in a positive light, and anyway, we want to lift our heads and move forward for the next game.
(What part do you see as positive?)
The players did what they intended to do for the full 90 minutes. However, we were unable to break through when the opponent created a block, and we couldn't execute passes or dribbles to disrupt the opponent's defensive line.
There were parts that were done, but I also think there were parts that were not done after all.
The positive aspect is that we are considering various things, and amidst various open developments, we were able to progress the game with only one goal conceded. Also, the players trained positively without being discouraged throughout this week. We are taking these aspects in a positive light.
"Summary of Urawa Mihailo Petrovic's press conference"
FC Tokyo's matches are always intense, and today's game was no exception.
The previous matches of FC Tokyo, in terms of content, I think there were many better games, but today's game became a match where both teams ran and fought.
We played against Shanghai in the ACL on Tuesday, and it was a tough match after a series of matches. However, we were able to secure a victory by running, fighting, and professionally going for the 3 points.
Today, the temperature rose and the players were quite exhausted, but I want to commend the attitude of the players who fought until the end in the consecutive matches.
