【Player/Coach Comments】
"Go HATANO Player"
(Please review the game)
"The result is disappointing, but I think I could have done better, so I want to push myself further."
(Regarding coordination with the defense)
"During practice, I played with Yoshimoto and Yamada, so there were no issues with coordination. However, if I could give more instructions, I think we wouldn't have conceded the third goal. My individual mistakes led to conceding goals, so I want to be more conscious of giving instructions from practice."
(There were also some good saves?)
"Even though I came on as a substitute, we still conceded goals after I came on. As a goalkeeper, I felt that I need to practice more to protect the goal."
"Takuya UCHIDA"
(Looking back on today's game)
"I am genuinely happy to have been able to play in the top team, but unfortunately we lost the game."
"I found many things that are still lacking, so I want to increase the plays that work in the top team and contribute to the team's victory."
(It seemed like I was playing quite calmly, didn't it?)
"At first, I was nervous, but I tried not to make any mistakes in my first play after the substitution. As time went by, I was able to play calmly, but I still made many mistakes, so I want to reduce the mistakes and create opportunities."
"Press Conference Summary by Coach Yoshiyuki SHINODA"
"I am reflecting on the very disappointing result. Above all, it was a big blow to concede a goal at that time. However, I thought that if we could get through with the fewest goals conceded, we could somehow manage. I had the players focus on how to come back from a 0-2 situation with a player sent off. We were able to create chances and I want to commend the players' attitude. However, just having a good effort and a "we did it" attitude alone will not yield anything."
What we are looking for is the result of victory, and we have worked hard, but I really don't think there is a future just by doing that, so I want to make sure they do their training, approach the game, and control the game properly, and I want to see if they can do it or not. The attitude was good, we created chances, but it was a game that felt unsatisfactory just with that."
"Q&A"
Q=It took some time for the switch to turn on, but the main reason was that the defense line was pulled by Iwata's Ogawa player. However, although we were able to adjust the line to the shadow area, the CB on the ball side could not approach the shadow that dropped further, causing the entire team to drop. I think this is the main cause."
We couldn't win against the opponent's long ball. That was one of the reasons why the team couldn't grasp the rhythm. I think the tempo was better and the ball separation and movement started earlier after we were one player down, so I think that's a point that everyone needs to reflect on.
"Iwata - Manager Hiroshi NANAMI's Press Conference Summary"
"I told the players to continue the good rhythm of the league match and to give their all without holding back because it is an opportunity to show themselves. I think it was a game where the strengths of both teams were evident from the start."
FC Tokyo, which became 10 players, struggled to some extent while showing their faces in between, utilizing the driving force of the previous players and the speed to carry forward. I think the lack of coordination in the 3-back was a point of reflection. The control of the line, which used to have a back pass of 7-8m and throw-ins even when there were 11 players, became negligent after becoming 10 players, so that is a future challenge.
In the second half, after the first 10 minutes, I thought that if we could survive the next 15 minutes, it would become our game, so I switched to a 4-back formation.
We were scored one point, which I think taught us that we still lack strength. So, we want to continue to do our best for the next league away match against Kashiwa.
