[Player and Coach Comments]

"Sotan TANABE"
"I was carrying a 2-point deficit, so I stepped onto the pitch with the mindset of 'I have nothing to lose. Let's give it my all.'"
 Skilled at evading opponent's press.
Today, as a team, we were unable to effectively put the ball into the forward line and get stuck in Kashiwa's press.
Therefore, I was thinking of releasing in the midfield and supplying passes to the front line.
If you can beat one opponent, Kashiwa's mark will also shift, and the DF can be moved."

(Yoshito OKUBO had a good pass, right?)
"There were parts where I was able to do it, and there were also things that were lacking."
Today, we were unable to fight in the part before the last play, rather than focusing on the accuracy and quality of the last play.
I think we couldn't build up from the back and create our own game.

Since the goal did not lead to any points...
If we could have decided a little earlier, there might have been another chance for the team.
However, personally, it leads to confidence and motivation.
I have one week until the next match, but I want to work hard without getting discouraged while facing challenges and be able to make good preparations.

"Hiroki KAWANO"
"There were several opportunities in the first half, but as a team, we were unable to create the definitive 'this is it' form."
Today, the intentions of "before" and "after" do not seem to align... It feels a bit scattered, I think.
Ryoichi and Yoshito are running so much even in defense.
I think there should also be times when we connect passes and play an offensive style of play.
"Over the next week, let's discuss and share our opinions together so that the team can move forward."

"Summary of Yoshiyuki SHINODA's press conference"
"It is frustrating to have such a defeat in front of many fans and supporters at home. The whole team, including the defensive line, played defensively against the press from Kashiwa's frontline."
By dropping the ball, I think we were put under pressure by the opponent, and it turned into a long ball to Maeda from there. We should have prepared to receive it a little earlier. I had conveyed that to the players, but I feel like it was more of a mental burden than a physical one.
The game became open due to conceding goals in the early stages of the second half. It could have been a game where we conceded the third and fourth goals, but we were helped by the opponent's mistakes and Lin and others did well to not concede.
However, I think not being able to score in the first half affected the team's morale. We created opportunities to get the ball to Utaka, but the final precision was lacking. We have to accept today's loss and instead of dwelling on it, we want to prepare for the next game."

"Q&A"
(What was the factor that caused the opponent to completely take control of the game after conceding a goal in the second half?)
"I think there are various factors, but one of them is that the timing of our approach became misaligned. The forwards pressed forward, but the defenders couldn't follow. The reason is that while trying to eliminate the opponent's midfield, we needed to apply pressure, but the forwards couldn't press the opponent's center-back."

(Today, it seemed like the players were constantly playing under pressure from the opponent?)
"There were many instances where a pass from the CB to the SB was made, but instead of facing forward, it was passed back to the CB when the opponent's player approached. This resulted in getting caught by the opponent's FW who pressed again, leading to either losing the ball or passing it back to the GK."
Rather than feeling pressure, I think the cause was that I wasn't thinking ahead when preparing to receive the ball and that the defensive midfielder didn't create a situation where they could support me on the side. It's a team issue. I think maybe I felt their pressure because of playing defensively."

"Summary of Kashiwa - Takahiro SHIMOTAIRA Coach's Press Conference"
"The players entered the game after being told to definitely win against FC Tokyo, who were one rank above."
In the midst of leading 2-0, the inability to score additional points became a factor in the chaotic ending. Therefore, I strongly felt that in order to become a strong team that can finish the game by firmly scoring the third and fourth goals, we need to be able to see what lies ahead.
However, I am satisfied because I was able to proceed according to the game plan and play soccer that can control the backbone of FC Tokyo. Thanks to the players' continuous reaction to the opponent's long ball and their efforts in winning the second ball for 90 minutes, we were able to achieve these results, so I am grateful to the players."

"Q&A"
(What did you think about the way the game progressed after the 20th minute of the second half?)
"FC Tokyo has been getting stronger in their attack, so we tried to receive it firmly and create chances on the counter. We were able to create actual chances, but I wanted us to finish those chances."

(Do you feel the growth of young players by being able to win against higher-ranked teams?)
"I think I have grown by experiencing various things. However, today we were able to respond well by effectively coordinating with the individual abilities of FC Tokyo as a team. I think that was good today, regardless of whether they are young or veteran players."
