【Player/Coach Comments】
《Ryoya OGAWA》
"As a team, I don't think it was a bad game overall. We were able to endure without rushing the opponent's time."
We were able to keep possession of the ball and create good opportunities.
I want to face the challenge of not conceding until the end and not being able to win without scoring goals.
(There were also chances from set plays?)
In J3, the opposing players are often taller, so I think if I can't kick the ball that I can hit right on target, it won't lead to a goal.
I would like to practice diligently and improve my accuracy.
(We attacked boldly from the left side) Anyway, we discussed the importance of everyone having the attitude of heading towards the goal.
I was aiming for a goal if I had a chance myself, and I thought that if I could break through individually, it would definitely lead to a chance, so I was conscious of those aspects.
(What did you focus on despite being a young team in terms of average age?)
As myself, Yamada and Insoo YU become the older generation, we have to lead the U-18 players and also be conscious of speaking up and leading the team in our play.
(What is your enthusiasm for the next match?)
I am determined to win every game, so I want to go and get all 3 points firmly."
"Kazunori Takase Player"
"I think it was a waste that we couldn't score when we had the ball in the first half."
As an individual, I think it is my job to not concede goals while the team struggles to score. So, I believe that conceding a goal is a reflection of my own lack of ability.
(It was my first appearance and first start in the J-League, but?)
I was nervous when I entered the stadium by bus, but once I got into the game, that nervousness turned into the perfect level of tension and I was able to focus on playing.
(There were some good saves, but how did it feel?)
The defense was working really hard, so it felt like we were protecting the goal together.
However, I couldn't help but think that the difference between players like Go Hatano and Riku Hirosue was that they couldn't turn it into a win in the end.
(What is your enthusiasm for the next match?)
I will definitely win if I play in the game.
"Summary of Coach Tadashi NAKAMURA's Press Conference"
"I would like to express my gratitude for being able to play the game in such a wonderful stadium and for the young players who have arrived at the stadium."
Furthermore, many FC Tokyo fans and supporters came all the way to Kyushu, which we are grateful for, and approached the game with appreciation.
We were conscious of how much the young players could challenge themselves against teams of a very high level in terms of the matches.
In the previous match against Morioka, we aimed to enter the penalty area numerous times and go for the finish, and although we were able to enter a considerable number of times, we couldn't finish with a shot.
This time, we aimed to go as far as scoring a goal against Kitakyushu in the game, and the defense was able to keep a clean sheet in the previous match, so we approached this match with the theme of keeping a clean sheet and winning.
The players fought well, there were also times when they moved the ball, and there were moments when they created scoring opportunities, but unfortunately they couldn't finish them.
Gradually, our legs stopped and there was also the pressure from the Kitakyushu team in front of our goal, resulting in conceding the opening goal and ending with a disappointing outcome."
