【Player/Coach Comments】
Takahiro YANAGI
"I thought about reducing the number of set plays by having many players with height against the opponent."
However, I think it was good that we were able to keep it at zero despite giving the opponent many set plays.
We had many chances to score, so we want to be able to convert them.
(It was a start in a different position than usual?)
I played as a left CB for the first time this year.
I also thought I could do that.
I think we were able to put the ball in by being aware of vertical passes and being aware of the team as a whole and looking at the previous situation.
When I moved to wing back in the middle of the game, I was thinking of actively attacking and was able to put in some crosses.
I want to improve the accuracy so that it can lead to a decisive opportunity.
I think we need to enter the opponent's territory and cross from a high position.
When I have the ball, I want to be more aggressive, dodge the opponent, and deliver a solid cross while being free.
(What is your enthusiasm for the remaining 2 matches?)
As a team, we have been in a good flow in the second half of the league, so we definitely want to win the next match and head towards the final match."
Yoshitake SUZUKI
"It was good that we were able to communicate with each other in defense and also prevent the opponent's set plays."
However, I think it is a challenge that we were not able to make the most of the many opportunities.
(What parts need improvement?)
Since my position is a central midfielder, I believe that by entrusting the ball and moving forward, as well as putting numbers in the attack, chances can be created.
Today, we were able to move forward in this way several times, but I would like to increase this kind of movement.
(What is your enthusiasm for the next match?)
I want to keep a clean sheet in defense and be conscious of attacking from various forms, and I also want to be able to participate in the attack myself."
"Summary of Coach Tadashi NAKAMURA's Press Conference"
"I would like to express my gratitude to all the fans and supporters who have come."
The disappointing thing was that we couldn't show a goal.
Today, in the midst of facing a tall opponent, our defense held them to zero, so it was a game where we absolutely had to score a goal.
The attacking line also moved energetically, and they prepared to receive the ball, made good crosses and vertical passes, and created chances from good combinations, but they couldn't finish.
In the past few games, the attacking time zone has gradually increased, and the number of times we have reached the finish has increased. However, considering the aspect of winning or losing, it was a match where I think we still lack the power to win.
