【Player/Coach Comments】
"Masayuki YAMADA"
(About the goal)
"We had coordinated with player Kiyoshi OTA since the previous day's tactical practice, and we also discussed the key points before the match, so it went as planned."
(Was it a confident pattern?)
"Scoring goals from set plays is also one of my strengths, so if I can get a good ball, I have confidence that I can win the contest. I'm glad I was able to show that today."
(Did your teammates say anything to you?)
"Yes, they did. However, in the end, we lost the game, so I wanted to score a goal that would lead to a victory. I conceded two goals in defense, which is the primary role, so I want to reflect on that situation and learn from it."
(Was there a difference in the weight of goals between J1 and J3?)
"If I were to be greedy, we had many set pieces, so I think we could have scored more goals. I think it was good that we were able to score, but it's disappointing that we couldn't turn it into a win."
(What did you feel playing in the defense?)
"Since the opponents also have many strong players, I was thinking about how to respond while playing. Personally, I have confidence that I can become the core of this team if I can gain more experience, so I want to challenge myself more in that aspect and use today's reflection to make progress in the next game."
Takefusa KUBO
(What is your honest impression of your J1 debut?)
"I was able to enter the flow of the pitch without any tension. It was a situation where we were trailing by one point, so I wanted to somehow catch up."
(Reflecting on my own play)
"I made my J3 debut last November, and there were moments when I felt tense. However, today I was able to play without any nerves because I had been practicing together. I think I was able to play better today."
(There was an instruction from the coach to "receive the ball a lot and create a rhythm", what do you think about that?)
"I think the coach is expecting more from us. I think it would be great if we can continue to play the way the coach wants, not only now but also in the future."
(Did you feel any difference between the Levain Cup and J3?)
"When it was the Levain Cup, I felt the difference between home and away, but I didn't feel anything else in particular."
(Looking back on the disappointing scene at the end of the game)
"I was trying to create a situation where the opponent's defense would come close, and I had the image of kicking from between the legs to the far side. However, the ball went off course and ended up right in front of the goalkeeper. It was a very frustrating moment because if it had gone as planned, maybe something could have happened. Not being able to shoot where I aimed is due to lack of practice, so I want to practice more when I get back."
(How do you want to connect this appearance to the future?)
"I think if I don't grow more, I will have more substitute appearances based on my overall ability at the moment. In that sense, I have grasped something, so I want to consistently be involved in games so as not to lose this feeling."
"Tokyo - Takayoshi Amma Coach's Press Conference Summary"
"I am grateful to all the fans and supporters who came to support us in Hiroshima."
The game was anticipated to be a spirited battle as Hiroshima fought to avoid relegation. However, we also maintained composure and progressed through the game. Our current challenge is conceding a goal just before the end of the first half. Nevertheless, we were able to equalize without losing concentration and repeatedly challenged aggressively in our attacks, which I believe will benefit us in the future. Yamada (Masayuki YAMADA), who has gained experience in J3, scored a goal, and Kubo (Takefusa KUBO) made an appearance, showing new aspects. We were also able to create a good shape in the Tosu match. We have become capable of creating scoring opportunities in today's game as well, so we will prepare thoroughly and aim to show the fans and supporters our winning form at home, Ajinomoto Stadium."
《Q&A》
Q=Kubo made his J1 debut, what is his evaluation for today?
"Since there were mistakes in the midfield and the ball couldn't settle down, the first thing I asked him to do was to get involved with the ball a lot. After he was subbed in, he was able to carry the ball forward properly and create opportunities, so I think he did what was asked of him. He also did a great job of dribbling and creating unpleasant plays for the opponent by cooperating with his teammates. I think he can continue to perform without any problems."
However, I think that if the situation is good, I can be more active, so I feel the need to gain more trust from those around me and express my intentions to him so that I can be entrusted with the ball at the timing I want to receive it."
"Summary of Hiroshima Yoon Yonson's Manager's Press Conference"
"In the first 5-10 minutes of the match, the team was being too cautious. However, gradually we regained our own style of play and in the end, I think we were able to play good football."
There were several points to be corrected from the Kobe match, but as a team, we were able to train well and defend strongly. We were able to finish the match today with only conceding from set plays. In terms of attack, we continued the good flow from the Kobe match, and Inagaki also worked hard. In the scene of the second goal, Takahashi and Felipe Silva also worked hard, and I think it led to Inagaki's goal.
This team is amazing. It is based on the spirit of Hiroshima. The team fights together because of that spirit. Today, the players who wore the uniform and those who didn't, the staff, the supporters, everyone fought together as one. The result is truly amazing."
Q=Did you secure J1 retention and accomplish one job?
"Everyone felt the pressure and fought. That's why I'm happy with this result. You don't know soccer until you fight. I didn't know what would happen today either. But to win, we need good soccer. It was my first league match as a coach, and I created many great opportunities, and hardly gave any chances to the opponent Tosu, but we lost because of a long shot. The performance was good, but we couldn't convert it into results. However, because we continued to play good soccer, it led to success."
