[Player and Coach Comments]

"Masato MORISHIGE player"

"Personally, I am very happy to win at Ajinomoto Stadium for the first time in about a year. I didn't think I could easily return to top condition from a long-term injury last season and start this season."
I thought I needed to ignite a fire within myself, but today I was able to enter the game well and make bold plays.

As a team, we have been struggling defensively in the past few games, so we decided to re-focus on our "defensive pressure from the front" approach that we have been working on since the training camp.
Furthermore, in the past, when trying to maintain a compact formation, the FW would drop back, but that would hinder the attack.
So today, I was conscious of pushing up from behind and compacting.
I think we were able to press aggressively from the front and connect it to good attacks by winning the ball in high positions.
I was able to make use of the reflection from the recent match.

"I want to work hard with the intention of regaining my position even in the national team, starting from here during the representative period."

"Kotaro OMORI"

"(Did you win against Shonan, known for their hard work?)
Of course, it is important to not lose in terms of simply running and hard work, but we are also conscious of taking a solid position in both offense and defense, and then moving forward from there."
I think it was significant that it was accomplished by everyone.

(What were the instructions from the coach?)
Same as always towards me. Just hammered in with a "You understand, right?!" (laughs). But I did feel the atmosphere of "There won't be a next time if you can't do it!!"

"Summary of Tokyo Hasegawa Kenta's Press Conference"

"I think being able to fight aggressively until the end today led to 3 points."
Shonan Bellmare is also a top class in J1, which is the basic aspect of soccer, "fighting, switching, running".
I think it will be a great confidence boost for the team to be able to fight bravely against such a team and have a game where they can surpass their opponents.
The game was set up in a way that if we could score an additional point after taking the lead with a wonderful goal by Diego OLIVEIRA, we would have won. However, it was difficult to score that additional point.
In this kind of situation, the DF line tends to momentarily lose concentration, but they played with concentration until the end.
Also, I think one of the factors that allowed us to fight without drawing the line until the end was that the players who came on as substitutes put pressure on the opponents from the front and did not allow them to kick good balls during power plays.
First of all, I would like to thank the players for achieving a victory in the league at home. I also want to express my gratitude to the fans and supporters who have been cheering us on tirelessly, despite the tough consecutive matches.
I think I can finally say that we have achieved our first victory, so I want to prepare well during the break period and get ready for the next match.

Q=What are the current areas of improvement while struggling to score amidst the flow of the game?
"In the first half, there was a one-two scene where Diego OLIVEIRA could have scored."
I think we are able to create opportunities. However, in order to improve the final part, we have no choice but to train. I believe that without such training, our scoring ability will not improve.
"Since we are entering the break period, I would like to do that kind of training."

Q=What is the evaluation of player Makoto OKAZAKI?
"They played calmly from the first half. There were some scenes where they panicked when they entered the attacking third, but I think they did a good job throughout the 90 minutes."

"Summary of Shonan's Coach CHO Kwi Jae's Press Conference"

"We ended the league match with 0 points for the first time. It's really frustrating, but we have to use this loss as a stepping stone for the next."
Not all of today's matches were bad, and we were able to show some good parts. However, we couldn't score and we were caught off guard by their first play in the second half.
However, I think it was good. Because we hadn't lost until now, I had the feeling that "the players behind me will somehow take care of it" or "the goalkeeper will stop it", so that feeling came out a little during this week's training.
I think it's not bad for players to have time to face this result as we continue to fight in the league.
However, we were caught off guard in the second half despite being cautious, so it was a very heavy goal conceded.
The fighting spirit of FC Tokyo, or rather the determination to fight, was one of the highest I have seen in the games I have watched. We must learn from such attitude.
What I felt in today's match is that if we want to fight in J1, including substitute players, we need to minimize mistakes that make it difficult for the whole team to move forward.
The league will enter a break period, but during this break period, we want to make good use of it and prepare well for the next game."
