【Player/Coach Comments】

"Yojiro TAKAHAGI player"
(This victory is big, isn't it?)
"It's big. There's nothing more than that."

(The first half was a tough development)
"We couldn't send the ball forward or create situations where we could push the opponent because of the wind. In that sense, I think it was good that we were able to endure the first half."

(Did the wind direction in the second half help us carry the game advantageously?)
"In the second half, we thought we could advance advantageously, so we believed that if we could score after creating momentum, we could win."

(After Nagai's goal, the opponent changed their tactics by bringing in taller players. What are your thoughts on that?)
"We anticipated that the opponent would play that way, so I think we were able to fight tenaciously until the end with everyone."

(Okazaki entered the game and Takahagi also dropped back quite low)
"I think everyone understands what the team needs to do no matter who comes in. Jang Hyun Soo had to be substituted due to an accident, but Maruyama played solidly and Okazaki has gained confidence in being able to play in any position, so I can play with peace of mind and be more aggressive."

(Many fans and supporters came, didn't they?)
"Thanks to the support of many fans and supporters, we were able to earn 3 points."

(The next match is against the top-ranked Hiroshima)
"Since today's match is already over, I want to quickly switch and prepare for the next match."

Kensuke NAGAI
(It is a shutout victory away. Looking back on today's game)
"The first half was windier than I had imagined, and it turned into a situation where we were pushed back by the opponent. Even in difficult times, the players were able to endure it by encouraging each other, and I thought that if we could get through the first half without conceding a goal, we would have a chance in the second half, so I think it was a victory that we won together."

"Diego Oliveira scored his second goal of the season. Diego Oliveira was able to position himself well between the opponents, so I was aiming for the space behind the opponents. Daiki Mori gave me a good pass, so all I had to do was to outmaneuver the goalkeeper. I'm glad I was able to score."

"Although we have consecutive matches, I want to recover from fatigue and prepare my condition for the future. We have matches every 3 days and every 2 days, but since we can play at home, I want to win consecutively and share the joy with the fans and supporters."

"Summary of Tokyo - Kenta HASEGAWA Coach's Press Conference"

"I think it was a difficult match. I believe the players found it very hot and fought well for 90 minutes in very tough conditions."
I think the reason for today's victory is that we were able to finish the first half with a score of zero. In my imagination, I thought the pitch of this stadium would be more lively (with the ball running more), but surprisingly, when it dried up, it became sticky and the ball didn't move.
In that sense, I think it took time for the players to adjust to the environment.
I think that being able to end the bad timing with a clean sheet led to the goal in the second half. In the end, Shimizu FW Tsubasa SHIMIZU had a scoring opportunity, but the players responded with their determination.
Shimizu has been playing very tough games recently when I watch their matches. I came here today prepared, and I really think we gained a big 3 points.

《Q&A》
Q=Regarding player substitutions, I believe today's substitutions were not necessarily as intended. How was the players' ability to adapt?
"(Chan) Hyun Soo had a slight discomfort in his leg, so Maruyama replaced him, but Maruyama himself was well prepared before the game and I think he smoothly entered the game. Okazaki made a comeback after a long time and there was some time when he couldn't get into the game, but I think if he gradually gets used to it in this way, he will become a solid force."

"Summary of Coach Taku Shimizu and Jan Jonsson's Press Conference"
"Today's performance was satisfying."
I think the play in the first half of 45 minutes was particularly good. In the second half, FC Tokyo came out much more aggressively. It became a chasing situation, but I think we were able to create many chances until the end. I told the players that it is important to show the same content as in the first half of 45 minutes for the entire 90 minutes.
I told the players to show a good game in the future matches and create scoring opportunities. It is certainly disappointing that we couldn't earn points despite playing well, but I also want to emphasize the importance of showing a solid performance in the game.
