[Player and Coach Comments]

"Hyun Soo JANG player"

(It was a difficult game. Looking back on the match)
"I think today's game was the worst among the games we have played this season."
Despite leading by 2 points in the second half, we ended up losing the game with a comeback of 3 points.
We all, including myself, need to reflect on this as a team. We must become stronger from this match.

(Thoughts on scoring the first goal of the season)
"Ota gave me a good ball, and I was able to time my jump perfectly."
I think it was good that we scored.
(Looking ahead to the next match)
There were some good parts in terms of the game and how it unfolded. However, when looking at the entire 90 minutes, I think our concentration was lacking. The same can be said for the past two matches.
We must review the game together, make corrections to the issues, and prepare for the next match.
"We need to become mentally stronger."

"Akihiro HAYASHI player"

(Looking back at the match)
"The start was good, and it was a good game in terms of content."
The most relaxed moment of this season is when the score difference becomes two points. We couldn't tighten it up.
"We were put in a situation where the opponent was coming at us in an unconventional way, so we had to make adjustments during the game. We also lacked the ability to prevent the opponent from breaking through until the very end."

(What are the areas for improvement for the next game?)
"We have no choice but to take another step forward. It was the first time this season that we suffered three consecutive losses, so we have to do our best to recover."
"I want to take a step forward with a fresh feeling."

(I felt that there was a difference in the second half's intensity)
"From watching from behind, it seemed like the movement was slowing down in the second half."
Everyone had the consciousness of leading by 2 points, but there was no intention to go into defense. However, I think the aggressiveness has decreased.
I feel like there was a sense of being a little scared of taking risks and ending up feeling the need to prioritize safety as much as possible, including myself.

"Summary of Tokyo Hasegawa Kenta's Press Conference"

"It is most frustrating to have lost after being overturned by a 2-point difference. The players entered the game with a strong determination to stop the consecutive losses and gave us a wonderful game."
However, what was disappointing was the start of the second half. We entered the second half with the intention of scoring another goal, but maybe we relaxed a bit because we had a two-goal lead.
That also led to conceding a goal, and I think our response in front of the goal was slightly lacking.
In the end, the start of the second half became a significant point of today's match.
However, we have been unable to score the opening goal in recent matches.
In that sense, I think today's game was a big gain for the team because we were able to create many chances from the first half and take a 2-point lead. I want to prepare thoroughly so that we can win the game this time by progressing in this way.
Many fans and supporters came all the way to Hokkaido to support us, and the players did their best with the hope of achieving something. However, we are truly sorry that we couldn't give you all a victory as a present.
On the contrary, in the situation where Sapporo had to go, I think that scoring one point greatly contributed to the power of the home team.

I want us to do our best to win this kind of match, and I want us to somehow manage it together. I want to switch gears for the next Emperor's Cup match against Yamagata and the weekend match against Shonan, and prepare for another week.

《Q&A》
Q: What kind of role did you expect from Maeda? A: I expected him to be the starting point in the front line and the final goal scorer, as it can be quite challenging to rely solely on speed-based players when Sapporo starts to turn the game around and we are under pressure. He was in great shape during training, despite just recovering from an injury. I decided to use him with the hope that he would score a goal.

Q=Player Shinta made his J1 debut.
"Because it was such a game situation, we needed a player who could carry the ball in the midfield. Aito is a player who excels in that kind of play, so I sent him off with the message, 'Go out there with confidence.' He is also a player who has a good mid-range shot, so we talked about taking a shot whenever there is an opportunity."

Q=Did the decrease in second half activity have an impact due to consecutive matches?
"There were some players on the side who seemed to struggle physically, but I think the other players ran until the end. Of course, there were also substitutions for Sapporo, and I think that because we took the lead in the first half, we became a little lax in the second half. I hope we can enter the second half firmly and perform well in the defensive part in front of the goal, just like in the first half. Of course, I think there will be changes in tactics due to Sapporo's substitutions, but I also think that there was a matter of our own feelings regarding today."

"Summary of Sapporo Mihailo Petrovic's press conference"
"The first half will be considered one of the worst halves since I became the coach."
The players seemed a little scared, so the game became a situation where they couldn't connect the ball easily. They either kicked long balls or lost possession, and couldn't bring the game to a situation where they could control the ball themselves.
Still afraid to kick the ball, afraid of making mistakes. Among that, there were also fewer movements to support.
It was an unsatisfactory first half as we conceded two goals amidst such passive play.
I made some adjustments during halftime and gave some harsh words.
In the second half, our players did the plays that we should have done from the beginning. They put pressure from the front, and the transition between offense and defense became faster, and it seemed that there were more situations where we could win the ball.
I think the substitute player who came on did a good job.
Through the matches, I think it will still take time for us to develop the soccer we aim for as a team in terms of maturity.

However, I think we can grow if the players understand the difference between the first half and the second half. The Sapporo team is a team that can create opportunities and score goals against any opponent.
However, within that, there are still many areas that the players need to learn in order to grasp victory.
Sec. 22, the players have been fighting well up to this point, and I am grateful for the support of the supporters.
The team is making progress. While winning and losing, the players are taking steps forward. I believe that daily practice is important to not stop that progress. In order to value that accumulation, I want to continue building from here.
Finally, the consecutive matches are over and it's time to practice. While savoring this victory, I want to keep going from tomorrow.
I think being able to come from a 2-point deficit and turn the game around against a strong Tokyo team proves that we have the strength. I believe that being able to show that we can win against strong opponents by playing our own game gives us confidence."
