"Summary of Tokyo U-23 Tetsu NAGASAWA's press conference"
(Looking back on the match)
First of all, we would like to express our gratitude to the approximately 1900 fans and supporters who came today. There was a heated battle in Suita yesterday as well, and we are truly grateful for your continued support.
In terms of running and ball control, C Osaka is a team that plays very faithfully. This is an important aspect that Coach Kenta HASEGAWA values even in the top team, so despite the hot and tough weather, we approached the game with the consciousness of not falling behind.
I think today's game was based on winning the competition at each stage. In a match-up between 4-4-2 formations, without any major positional changes, it was a straight-up battle where individual battles were crucial. Even in terms of ball control, prediction and preparation are everything, so being able to be half a step ahead of the opponent in this weather, I believe the players were able to do it with determination, thanks to the support of the fans.
As I always say, the players' goal is not just to win here and celebrate, but to earn recognition from Coach Hasegawa and continue to prove themselves with their play and results on the pitch in order to stick with the top team. In that sense, it has been 2-3 months since the start of the season, but I think the fighting mentality is firmly developing. In order to participate in J1, we need to play more matches, so we want to continue with rigorous training."
