[Player and Coach Comments]

Takefusa KUBO
(So far, in the official matches, there have been two consecutive scoreless draws)
"Before the match, we all talked about how 'we can't win without scoring goals.' I am very happy that I was able to score and win."

(There were difficult times in the early stages of the match)
"The temperature has risen a little compared to last week, and both teams had moments where their legs stopped. In the midst of that, we were conscious of sprinting from the front line and chasing the ball from the beginning."

(Looking back at the goal scene)
"Yajima player left the loose ball from the corner kick by putting his body on the line. When it came loose to my position, I had no choice but to shoot, and my body reacted, and when I shot, it went in."

(He was quite far back when he took the corner kick, but he quickly moved forward just before the goal scene. What was the image like?)
"When I'm not the kicker, I usually position myself where the loose ball is likely to come in both attack and defense. Today, I was naturally there because I was preparing while thinking about where it might come loose."

(The ball that came out was also difficult because it had a high bounce)
"I was trying to shoot as compactly as possible. The ball flew in a better trajectory than I expected."

(Today's goal was the first goal in the Tokyo league match)
"It became later than I thought, but a goal is a goal, so I want to be happy honestly."

(This makes it 11 games undefeated)
"Compared to last season, we are more conscious and motivated in our daily training. We had a bitter experience last season, so everyone strongly wants to avoid having the same feeling. I think there are invisible factors like that."

(How has your awareness changed?)
"I have become more conscious of dangerous situations and started thinking about where to receive the ball when I don't have it."

(For the next Sapporo match)
"I just saw that Sapporo had a draw, so I want to work hard to maintain Tokyo's momentum and win next week."

Kosuke OTA
"There was no feeling of being done by the opponent, and we were able to win by enduring and fighting. I think it means a lot to the team that Kubo scored in a game like this."

(The opposing goalkeeper's performance was amazing)
"Kaminski is amazing when playing at Ajista. He stopped the amazing shot by Na SANGHO at the end, and I once again felt that he is one of the amazing goalkeepers in the J-League. In that context, it was really good that we were able to score as a team."

(The stability of the defense is reflected in the results so far)
"I still think it's too early to be satisfied here. I want to continue to do my best so that I can be told that the defense was stable this season when the season is over."

"Tokyo - Summary of Coach Kenta HASEGAWA's Press Conference"
"We were able to win the first game of the Reiwa era with many fans and supporters coming to the home Ajinomoto Stadium."
I think it was a very significant result for the team that Ken'ei scored.
Despite having a few injured players, the bench also consisted of young members. However, the team's unity, or rather, the captain, managed to bring the team together.
Last week, the game between G Osaka and Levain Sendai ended in a scoreless draw. Among them, we talked about what happened after stealing the ball, but we couldn't quite break through. However, we were able to fight firmly in the second half.
It was good that we were able to score from a set piece in our own time zone.
This time, it was the first time we scored a goal from a set piece in the league match. Next, we have a one-week break and it will be a three-game series including the Levain Cup.
"I also want to prepare thoroughly."

(I think Kubo's goal stood out for its technical excellence, but how did it look from the coach's perspective?)
"I think it was a difficult volley shot, moving to predict the ball's trajectory. His shooting technique is top class within the team. I truly thought his skill in that area was remarkable."

"Iwata - Coach Hiroshi NANAMI Press Conference Summary"
"I think we were able to execute the game plan as planned until the scene of conceding a goal."
Just before the end of the first half, a vertical pass was sent to Diego OLIVEIRA and Nagai, and from there, they almost created several opportunities for a central breakthrough through flicks or combinations, but they defended well.
The number of times I was allowed to enter the deep area of the side was small, and even when I was allowed to enter, I took time to defend and created time to form the defensive organization inside the box. These were the two points I was thinking of taking care of. I think the players did well.
In order to counter the opponent's expected fatigue in the second half, Nakaguchi, Uehara, and Yamada from the center, as well as one-touch plays that change the direction, rhythm, and tempo, or side changes that alter the distance of the ball. We wanted to increase the number of finishes by effectively using this while putting numbers on the sides for breakthroughs or simple crosses.
There were some scenes that were not bad in terms of shape, but it was difficult to go all the way to the shape of the shot.
I think the reason why Tokyo has few goals conceded is because they are thorough in throwing their bodies near the box, so there are many scenes where they hit the opponent there and it is difficult to go all the way to the finish.
What I can confidently say is that compared to the training match we had in February, which we lost completely, this was a content that we can have enough confidence in."
