Tokyo U-23 Tetsu Nagasawa Press Conference Summary ≫

"I heard that there were also people who came to support us in today's match, following the J1 League match at Ajinomoto Stadium yesterday. Thank you very much."
We fought aiming for 3 points, but we could only acquire 1 point. I feel that we need a little more determination to win.
As you can see from the team composition, many young players belonging to U-18 participated in today's match. Among them, players such as Niwa, Hirakawa, and Shina who belong to the top team played well, considering the team first and paying attention to their surroundings despite the difficult situation.

Three good points about the game content.
The first is that we didn't lose in the battle for the ball and the defensive line didn't drop. The second is that we were able to attack positively towards the goal. The third is that we were able to have a persistent defense with HATANO at the center, exchanging words in front of our own goal.
However, we must be able to overwhelm the opponent in a game like today's, and throughout the game, I hope that the young players will continue to grow.

(The team had been conceding goals at the beginning of the season, but we have kept clean sheets in the last two matches)
"Each individual understands their role clearly, and the first team's defense is outstanding, so I believe that if we train together as a whole, we can also see the positive aspects."
I think it's good that players with a career like Niwa are coaching young players and conveying important things while encouraging them.
