"Summary of FC Tokyo U-23 Coach Tetsu Nagasawa's Press Conference"
"I have heard that there are fans and supporters who came straight from yesterday's J1 Nagoya match. I am extremely grateful and feel that they have lent us their strength."
The game was a bit slow in the first half, but in the second half, the team changed positions and started pushing the ball forward, resulting in scoring the desired opening goal.
The young players in the DF line were working hard with high concentration, but in terms of the outcome, it was a game that was very educational. I think it will be a valuable experience for them in the future, as they were able to experience various things throughout the game.
In the final stage, the 16-year-old players (Leon NOZAWA, Kojiro YASUDA) each created one chance and showed a very aggressive attitude, so I think they will become valuable assets in the future.
Other players were also able to run well and fight in the second half, so I want to pursue things like the ball-winning moments and the finer details that will become the turning point of the game in order to win games like this.
The overall flow was not bad, so I want to approach the next battle with the mindset of seeing youth as potential for growth."
