"FC Tokyo U-23 Tetsu NAGASAWA Coach Press Conference Summary"

"First of all, it's been a while since I came to J-VILLAGE Stadium for a home game in Fukushima Prefecture. I have heard that Fukushima Prefecture has been greatly affected by the recent Typhoon No. 19, in addition to the recovery from the earthquake. I am grateful that today's game could be held in such circumstances, and I want to think about what we can do and take action to further the recovery as a club. I feel that today's match has also become a meaningful event."

To put the match simply, the first half was good, but the second half became a knock-on development. Especially in the second half, the timing between the front line and the back line did not match, and we were unable to put the ball into the front line. The cause was fatigue and the distance between the players. Regarding the distance, it may change depending on the situation, but I think the time spent standing was longer. Even in such situations, I believe that showing presence is the significance of participating in J3.

16-year-old Yasuda has played in 6 matches so far, and he has become accustomed to the ball speed and has been playing boldly to move the ball forward. In the midst of a stagnant game, I felt the potential when Kobayashi Riku, who came on as a substitute, played confidently. Also, from the first half, I felt the determination of players like Shina, Miyazaki, and Nakamura to get involved in J1 somehow. Yesterday, Arthur SILVA produced results in J1, and Uchida came on as a substitute at a crucial time. I think it will be a momentum towards winning J1 when players who have been playing in U-23 participate in J1 and produce results. I also want to fight with high intensity in the remaining matches in J3."
