"FC Tokyo U-23 Tetsu NAGASAWA Manager Press Conference Summary"

"We are grateful to the fans and supporters who came to watch our game, despite it being held at the same time as the J1 League."

The past few games have been of good quality, but in regards to today's game, it lacked speed and aggressiveness, so although they are trying their best, it felt a bit unsatisfying.

The team had a tendency to frequently return the ball backwards without making a forward decision when they successfully stole the ball, which resulted in putting themselves in a difficult situation from the beginning and allowing the opponent to gain momentum throughout the second half. While it is not necessarily a bad choice to return the ball backwards, it seems that their vision is still narrow in terms of choosing that play when the opponent is anticipating it. They are still young, so I hope they can learn and improve in that aspect.

However, it would have been an interesting game if we had taken the best opportunity. I think it was not a difficult play to make, but I think that was the turning point of the match.

In any case, there are still immature parts that need to be filled in. In order to continue as a player rather than as a team, I must recognize and overcome my weaknesses.
