[Player and Coach Comments]

Leandro player
"This year was a truly challenging season with a tight schedule. Despite the postponements, we were able to win the championship, and I think we were able to end it on a really positive note."

(The dribble course selection for the opening goal was excellent)
"Ogawa won the header and the ball came to me free. From there, I started dribbling and was able to lure the sliding tackle from the opponent's Hisharjison. I was able to time it well and get past the second defender, and finally take the shot."
The shooting part, there was a time in other matches where I didn't shoot to the opposite side. At the moment of shooting, that came to mind and I decided to shoot towards the direction of progress, and as a result, it went in."

(Came to Japan 4 years ago. This is the first season in Tokyo, but I feel the most growth so far)
"It was the best year in the 4 years. I won the ACL with Kashima, but I could only play 2 games and got injured and had surgery."
Today, we fought until the end and achieved the title.
"I think it was truly a wonderful season."

"Masato MORISHIGE Player"
"This season, amidst a series of consecutive matches, young players have been given opportunities, and there have been times when results have been achieved, as well as times when they haven't."
J League, ACL and experience, especially in ACL, I think they had a significant experience.
We veteran players also had a great experience and felt various things in the tournament.
Based on that, I felt that what we have built up so far came out in today's final round."

(The honest feeling of winning is)
"It can only be described as truly happy."
No more words can be found.
I think it was tough for fans and supporters to not be able to watch matches like before this season.
"I am really happy to be able to present the title to those fans and supporters today."

(I think I spent a long time in a period when I couldn't win, but what I feel now is)
"Today, I was genuinely happy to finally be able to win after the game ended."
I am relieved now because I approached it with a strong desire not to lose in the final round and to definitely win.
There are only these two feelings right now.

《Keigo HIGASHI Player》
(The coach Hasegawa said there is something that can only be obtained by winning the championship, but now, once again, my current feelings are)
"At the moment the game ended, my emotions really came out. Now, seeing that I am receiving messages from various acquaintances, I am once again realizing that we have won the championship."
The 2019 season ended in second place in the league, and it ended with a feeling of regret. However, I am truly happy that we were able to finish the year with a win. This is like a new start for Tokyo, and it brings out the desire to win again. The moment of winning the championship is unforgettable. I also have the feeling of wanting to win a title again as soon as possible."

(Including the fact that I was able to participate due to the postponement of the Levain Cup final because of injuries, I think it was a deeply moving victory. My honest impression is)
"Initially, it was a difficult situation for me to participate in the Levain Cup final due to injuries, but with the schedule change, I was able to stand on this stage, and I thought that if I didn't win, I would be told that "the captain doesn't have it".
I am really happy to be able to become a champion here with the help of everyone's efforts. Even though I couldn't make a sound, I am really happy because many fans and supporters supported me.

(Have you ever felt something again when you were injured?)
I realized that I was supported by many people such as doctors and medical staff when I had surgery, and I was able to stand on the pitch.
I feel that this is a part that you don't notice unless you get injured.
We are fighting on the front stage, but we also want to express our gratitude to the backstage staff who support us wholeheartedly, like Mr. Yamakawa from TOHO S. and many other staff members.

(The impression of fans and supporters at the new Japan National Stadium)
"I felt it even during the practice the day before yesterday, but I really thought that the new Japan National Stadium is a wonderful stadium. I am really happy to be able to stand on the stage of the Levain Cup final there, and I am even more delighted that we were able to win."
"I am truly grateful for the many fans and supporters who come and cheer, even though it may not be a stress-relieving experience. Thank you for your applause and support."

"Tokyo - Summary of Coach Kenta HASEGAWA's Press Conference"
"In this situation, I would like to express my gratitude to the fans and supporters who came to support us, as well as to those who supported us outside the stadium."
The players gave their best for 90 minutes to respond to the feelings of such fans and supporters.
I think I was able to repay a little.
"This title is the first step. We want to continue fighting for more titles in the upcoming season."

(This was the first title I won after joining Tokyo, but what kind of conversation did we have in the locker room at the end?)
"First, I believe that titles won't come unless we win a title."
By winning the first round, I believe it brings me closer to other titles, so first, I wanted to win one of the three major titles.
As a player, my first title that I won during my time at G Osaka was also the Levain Cup, so this is also my first title that I won in Tokyo, and I feel that there is still a connection.
The players seemed very happy with smiles on their faces after winning.
There are also players leaving the team this season, and it is truly a coincidence that I was able to work with everyone here. I think it is because of the wonderful encounters that we were able to win this amazing title.
"We will continue to cherish wonderful connections and encounters, and each of us expressed our wishes for good fortune as players and as a team."

(The Tokyo pace was progressing from the first half, but it seemed like the aim was off)
"Everyone covered each other and showed the team's strengths while also taking care of the opponent's strong points. I think they did a good job working for the team's victory, including the substitute players."

(Regarding the use of player Morishige as an anchor)
"After converting in the ACL, the team has become able to play stable and composed games in both offense and defense."
It was also significant that we were able to use them in the league matches after returning to Japan, and it was a valuable experience for the team.
In the final match of the league, we were able to start Adailton on the left side, so we were able to effectively use the league matches after the ACL in preparation for today.

(Regarding the team's changes after taking office)
We have always talked about how frustration can make a team stronger, and at the end of last season, we were overtaken by Yokohama FM and had the sight of them winning the championship right in front of us, which was a frustrating experience for us. Starting from that frustration, this season was a special one due to the coronavirus, but we were able to play soccer with the help of everyone coming together and the assistance of various people.
And with that gratitude, I think it was a big thing to be able to win the title and relieve that frustration.

"Summary of Kashiwa NELSINHO Coach's Press Conference"
"I think it was a very tough match."
The first half had a lot of fouls at times, and it didn't become a game with many goals being scored, partly because it was the final round.
In the first half, we were scored against and managed to regain our pace and score a goal just before the end, bringing the score level as we headed into halftime.
During halftime, we tried to put more pressure on the defense. As for the attack, we aimed to firmly hold the ball after entering the opponent's territory.
We were able to score a second goal against the opponent in the second half, but that period of time was a good period for us in terms of both offense and defense.
However, the opponent had very fast players in the front line and had skilled players with excellent technique, so they took advantage of our lack of concentration and scored 1-2.
The opponent was able to play a very stable game by taking the second goal.
We were hoping to bring it to a tie and take it to overtime, but in the end, it ended with this result."
