【Player/Coach Comments】
"Joan OUMARI"
(Looking back on the match)
I think the first 10 to 15 minutes of the game were a difficult period for us.
The opponent was attacking aggressively, but we were also focused on not conceding any goals in the early stages.
I think everyone was conscious of fighting compactly, and the attacking players also came back to the back, so the team was able to come together in a very good shape.
In the second half, I think we were able to play our own soccer better, such as attacking after picking up second balls, and we were able to create more chances than the opponent. In the end, it ended in a scoreless draw, but I want to believe in our soccer and fight firmly in the next Sendai match."
(I think I showed a great response to the opposing FW as an individual)
"Defense cannot be done alone. I think my play was not bad, but the efforts of all the players involved in defense have led to today's result."
I think it was a draw that we fought compactly, slid firmly, and fought while switching quickly with everyone.
(What is necessary to earn 3 points)
"Although there were some matches with decent performance after the away 3-game series, we must accept the result of no victories."
However, I think the important thing is to have confidence and fully demonstrate our football.
Although we couldn't win today's match, I think we are getting closer to victory by continuing to play at 100% for the team.
"Hirotaka MITA"
(I think it was a usage with the desire for goals even in the Sapporo match, but what I am conscious of when entering from the second half)
"In a situation where we were pushed back by the opponent, I felt that we needed to turn the tide and create our own time."
"It would have been good if we could have decided there, but it ended up being a back and forth development in the end."
(Regarding the coordination of Brazilian players in the front line)
"They have a strong weapon."
We, who come on as substitutes, must show the difference in order to put another gear in the second half.
"I think I need to get involved in scoring more."
(Although I am playing as a substitute)
I am currently challenging myself as a defensive midfielder.
I strive to play the same way whether on the side or in the midfield.
"I am always conscious of continuing to play in my own way, whether it's from the start or from the middle."
(I think it is a big presence for the current team to have the ball settled in the midfield)
"I think that is also my strength."
However, there are also parts that need to adapt to what the team requires.
I think I need to also go into the goal area in a faster attack and it will be vital to keep the ball in there.
I think it is my role to come up with ideas and break down even opponents who are drawn like today.
"Tokyo - Summary of Coach Kenta HASEGAWA's Press Conference"
"I think it was a very difficult match as expected, but today we were able to keep a clean sheet, which is a relief considering the recent games where we have been conceding unnecessary goals."
I think being able to firmly defend the opponent's attacking unit is a half step forward. I think there were some parts where we lacked momentum in terms of attack, but I think it was a game where it all came down to whether Tagawa could decide in that situation at the very end. If we don't decide in those moments, we end up with these kinds of results.
"We want to make good preparations together for the next Sendai match and aim to win 3 points this time."
(I think it was a game where the high awareness of defense was evident, but regarding the response in the details)
"It's hard to say since it's only one game, but we have to continue this."
I think the defense team played with concentration in that sense."
(Regarding the change in the defensive lineup)
"We made some changes to the lineup as we had consecutive matches and there were some weaknesses exposed in recent games. We wanted to approach today's match with a slightly different lineup."
Especially Leandro Pereira was in the center, and we approached the game with a center line that could respond firmly to the target man. There were both good points and challenges in the fact that Yoshinori Muto continued to play, so I think there were parts that I could organize by watching the game from the outside today."
(Regarding the evaluation of Takumi NAKAMURA)
"I had a conversation with him and told him that he passed."
It is not that Takumi NAKAMURA was not used because he was bad, but because Yoshifu was good and continued to play until the previous match. However, Takumi NAKAMURA has been diligently preparing even though he did not make it into the lineup. Today, we want to give him another chance, so we decided to use him.
"I think you did very well."
(Ogawa played as a left fullback and his performance was evaluated as)
"He is a member of the Japan national team, so I think he played well in his original position."
"Summary of G Osaka Manager Masanobu Matsunami's Press Conference"
"Tokyo has a slightly spaced-out feeling for the game, and they come in with their condition in perfect shape. While predicting the times when they would be pressed, I think we were able to firmly control Tokyo's attacking line with our three defenders and defensive midfielders, as well as our sides."
There were several dangerous scenes, but I think it was good that we were able to hold on and keep a clean sheet until the end.
However, in terms of attack, although there were several chances in the first half, they couldn't convert them, and there weren't many chances in the second half. However, there were some chances towards the end of the game when they pushed back a little, so if they could have taken advantage of those opportunities and converted them, I think they could have achieved victory."
(Although dangerous scenes were created at the end, there were no goals conceded in the 3 official matches. It is a plus factor that the defense has gradually stabilized while fighting in a tough battle for survival.)
"The back three plus Higashiguchi are naturally players of the Japan national team class, and the defense on the sides, in the midfield, and up front, were very conscious and performed well in the first half."
I think the defensive awareness of the whole team has been gradually increasing.
Also, I think we can defend by dividing and conquering, even if we are pressed or pushed.
(Today's game was a battle where we were cautious of Tokyo's strong attacking lineup and tried to find opportunities while maintaining stability. However, we lacked what it takes to score.
"There were few people entering the penalty area, and there was a lack of power."
Also, because Tokyo's defense is solid and difficult to break down, it becomes difficult to break through after stealing the ball, so I was conscious of the speed after stealing the ball.
