[Player and Coach Comments]

"Rio OMORI"
(I had experience playing in cup matches, but it was my J1 debut. How did I feel when the coach approached me?)
"In a situation where we were one player down and the team was struggling, I thought about what I could do and decided to go for scoring without conceding. It aligned with the team's intentions, so I wasn't confused."
"I feel like I couldn't do anything because I ended up in the worst scenario, repeatedly conceding goals and not being able to score."

(Part where I felt the difference with Yokohama FM)
"When I played, we were one player short, but the quality of the opponent and their attitude of constantly pushing forward never wavered until the end."
I felt that the team is strong in being able to maintain quality for 90 minutes.

(Entered the position of player Morishige, who is the goal, but how to make use of today's experience)
"I am very sorry that I finished with this result. I have to become a player who is admired by others and I must never repeat this kind of game. I have to do my play no matter what the situation is, and I have to play for the team to win. I want to continue fighting without giving up and maintain the same attitude."

(After the match, I collapsed in the shape of a "大" character, but what kind of feeling was it?)
"I felt a strong sense of frustration."
However, I regret that behavior as a professional, and I think the player who played the full game was even more frustrated.
The score is a result of giving our all, so we should have controlled our emotions. We should not have played this kind of game while representing Tokyo's emblem. I felt regret and frustration due to my own lack of ability.

(Based on the fact that it was a score that I have never had in my life, how can I make use of it in the future?)
I think I have to become a player who leads Tokyo, so how can I make the team move forward? I think that when things are going well, we can naturally enhance each other's abilities, but when things are going badly, someone has to change the flow of the team. I want to become a player who can do that.
"I will never forget this match and I believe that I must make use of this experience when times get tough."

《Keigo HIGASHI Player》
(Although conceding 8 goals in one match became the worst record in the club's history)
"I am truly sorry to the fans, supporters, and everyone involved with Tokyo. I can't find the words to express my disappointment."

(There were also changes in the formation, and in the second half, I played in the position of libero. I was thinking about what I could do for the team, and I started the second half thinking about taking back as many points as possible. Although I was inexperienced as a libero, I wanted to contribute somehow.)

I am sorry that I was not able to meet the expectations of the coach and ended up conceding goals in the second half. I will accept this result and use it as a learning experience for the next time.

(It seemed that the first goal was the trigger for a large number of goals conceded)
"I haven't watched the footage yet, so I can't explain it fully, but I don't think the start was bad at all."
Yokohama FM, unlike usual, has positioned players with speed rather than height in the front line. We understood that the opponent was aiming for the space behind Tokyo.
The first goal is important in any match, and by getting a red card from there, the plan fell apart. However, we had to at least minimize the goals conceded. It's a feeling of disappointment as a professional."

(Where do you feel the cause of this result lies?)
"It's difficult, but there is not one single cause. To recover from such a frustrating match, I think it's a matter of each individual's mindset, so we have to turn this into a positive."
The league has only 3 more games left, but we have to show our determination. We can't end like this, so we need to watch the footage carefully, analyze it, and move on to the next.

(Looking ahead)
"We have no choice but to switch our mindset and we have no choice but to accept it when we have been pushed this far. We will prepare well for the next match and definitely deliver a game that meets everyone's expectations."

"Tokyo - Summary of Coach Kenta HASEGAWA's Press Conference"
"A feeling of being pathetic beyond frustration."
The players did well and I am grateful to the fans and supporters for continuing to support us until the end. This is also frustrating because of our lack of strength. I want to gather strength and do my best so that I can return this frustration somewhere else."

(After the match, I told the players what kind of encouragement I gave them)
I conveyed the same things I said earlier. I thought it wouldn't be strange if the fans and supporters stopped cheering in the middle, but they continued to support us until the end. I told the players about this fact. I talked about how we have to fight while carrying the feelings of the fans and supporters.

(Regarding being outperformed by the opponent we competed against for the championship two years ago)
"This season, we reflect on the fact that we were unable to fight as an organization and as a team in terms of details. Although we have the numbers, we fail to clear the ball and concede goals. Maybe it's not just an 8-point difference, but the opponent we competed against for the championship before is now in second place, while we have sunk to the middle. I think the difference in details accumulates and leads to a difference in rankings, so if we don't address that again, the gap with the top teams will widen."

(Intention of changing Hiroshi OMORI to libero from the start of the second half)
"I think Hiroshi OMORI was nervous because it was his first appearance in J1 with one less player. In order to make him play calmly, I wanted to place Tō (東) close to him and let him play calmly."
Furthermore, with the new members, it was a difficult situation to fight with both sides in a high position, so we placed Higashi in the center and positioned Nagatomo and Watanabe (Ryoma) slightly higher. We thought about taking advantage of the one chance. We made the midfield into three pieces so that we could support the sides and the forward. I think the players were confused, but they kept going until the end without giving up."

(The reason for this result is where it went wrong)
I think if we had been able to handle the opponent's FW's speed a little better in the DF line, we would have had a chance to prevent the opponent's opening goal. Especially the third goal was related to mistakes. By repeating such goals, I feel that the young players got a little carried away. We need to be more solid at the back and have some players who can fight in the front line. If everyone doesn't show a fighting attitude, this is the result we end up with.
I think this is part of my own lack of foresight because it turned out to be the worst-case scenario I had anticipated.
