[Player and Coach Comments]

"Kosuke OTA"
Q=Please review today's game.
"Winning without conceding a goal gives us confidence, but it was also a game where we faced some challenges."
It is difficult to match the team's condition to its peak at the opening game, and I think it is something that can gradually be improved while fighting. The team has definitely improved since it started, so I want to continue building on that. We will practice firmly in the remaining week and make the best preparations."

Q = Attacks from the side were noticeable, but "If we can hold the ball in a high position on the side, I think we will have more opportunities to participate in the attack. We are focused on creating scoring chances even with limited opportunities, and I want to trust the players who come inside and send them the ball. However, my position is a defender, so the most important thing is to have a good defense. I am happy that we didn't concede any goals today."

"Hyun Soo JANG player"

Q=Looking back on today's game

"I think it was good for us to be able to finish the game without conceding any goals. I am satisfied that we were able to show what the coach expects and what the players are trying to do during the camp in today's match."

Q=What were the aspects of the soccer that the coach was looking for in today's game? "We are playing with a sense of unity, where each individual runs well and enters the defense firmly. It's not just about individuals performing well, but I think we were able to fight as one to achieve good results as a team."

Q=What is the feeling of leading the team as captain in today's match? "There are many things that I have to do as a captain, not only during the match but also outside of it. First, I want to show a proactive attitude through my play and communication, and lead the team."

"Summary of Tokyo Hasegawa Kenta's Press Conference"

"Yokohama FM plays a possession-based style of soccer, similar to Barcelona, where the fullbacks tuck inside and create difficult positions for Yokohama FM's build-up and central midfielders. I think the players had a hard time adjusting to it. In particular, due to the inconsistency on the right side, we allowed the opponents to enter our box several times. I think we improved as the game went on, but we still lost the ball too hastily after winning it back, so we need to work on that. It was a tough match, but winning in the end is very important in terms of developing a winning mentality at home. Personally, I don't remember winning a preseason match before, so it's the first time that we can enter the season without any losses after playing six matches. That's because the players have shown a strong commitment to fighting as a team. We still have areas to improve today, but we will continue training to address them one by one. Urawa has even stronger individual players, so we will prepare for the opening match with a solid week of preparation."

"Q&A"

Q=What did you get from today's game?

"I don't think possession is everything. Even when the ball was taken away, we were able to respond properly in the end. I don't think it's good for every game to unfold like today's, but I think it's good if we can control the game while creating a solid block. Until the first 30 minutes of the first half, there were some dangerous scenes, so we need to improve on that. As for the way we played in the second half, I think we were able to keep a high defensive line. I'm not pessimistic about the way we played until we changed the players in the second half. However, after winning the ball, we panicked and lost the ball many times, so we need to make sure to connect those moments firmly."

I think we couldn't create much rhythm in the defensive midfield position. "If you say there were many mistakes in the previous games before today's game, it's not like that. I think it's not just their fault, but also the problem of the receiving players, so I want to watch the footage again and give feedback."

Q=Regarding the substitution of players Ota and Maruyama? "I tried using them in a preseason match. I knew that Maruyama could play as a left fullback, but I had never actually used him in a real game, so I wanted to try it out."

Yokohama FM Ange POSTECOGLOU Manager's Press Conference Summary

"We were able to stick to our style until the end and they played well for the full 90 minutes. I think it was a good game for both teams."

"Q&A"

Q=What is the style that the coach says about themselves? "It's only been 3 or 4 weeks, but the players have been working hard and trying to play dynamic soccer. I think there were a few moments like that in today's match, but we want to firmly incorporate it from now on."

What is the most important part you want to improve before the opening? "I wish the penalty kick had been successful, but we were able to create other chances as well. The most important thing is to enhance the players' understanding of tactics. If we can do that, I believe the game will develop better, we will be able to create more opportunities, and we will be able to score."
