The 2016 J.League Super Cup Okinawa Round, which welcomed the final match. Following the results of other matches, Tokyo secured the championship with a draw or better.
The players aim to win this match as the culmination of the Okinawa Kunigami Village camp. Two players, Akimoto and Maruyama, were included in the starting lineup, replacing the players from the Sapporo match. The match started with Verdy's kickoff at 15:04.

The match saw intense ball interceptions from the beginning to the middle, with a back-and-forth battle between attacks and defenses.
26 minutes: Maeda in front of the goal combines with a high-headed shot from Mizunuma's left corner kick. It seemed to have crossed the goal line, but the opponent's defender deflected it, and it was not the opening goal.
28 minutes: Maruyama sends a long pass from the defensive line. Higashi runs behind the opponent's defensive line to meet the pass and finds himself in a one-on-one situation with the goalkeeper, but Suzuki makes the save.
