Three players from the top team (hereinafter referred to as Player A, B, C) have tested positive for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), so we would like to inform you. Player A underwent a PCR test on February 16th (Wednesday) and received a positive diagnosis on the same day. In response to this, we conducted our club's own PCR test for all members of the top team on the same day, and Player B and C received positive diagnoses. All three players are currently undergoing appropriate measures and receiving medical treatment.
Note: There are no close contacts in this case based on the activities and behavior history in accordance with the J.League COVID-19 guidelines.
Today, we will only conduct team activities for players and staff who have confirmed negative results through the club's unique antigen testing. The club will further strengthen the measures against the novel coronavirus infection that we have been working on, and once again, we will ensure that all players, staff, and stakeholders are fully aware of and thoroughly implement infection prevention measures.
