At FC Tokyo, multiple top team players and staff have tested positive for the new coronavirus infection, and under the guidance of the jurisdictional health center on Feb 21 (Mon), team activities will be suspended from Feb 20 (Sun) to Feb 26 (Sat) for 7 days to prevent the spread of infection.
As a result, it has been determined by the J.League Chairman that it is clear that the entry requirements stipulated in the 2022 Meiji Yasuda J1, J2, and J3 League match implementation guidelines cannot be met, leading to the decision to cancel the match.
