Announcement of positive COVID-19 diagnosis for top team players and staff

Four members of the top team players (hereinafter referred to as Player A, B, C, D) and two top team staff members (hereinafter referred to as Staff A, B) have tested positive for the novel coronavirus infection, so we would like to inform you. Staff A tested positive for the antigen test on Feb 21 (Mon). Four top team players and Staff B underwent PCR testing on Feb 22 (Tue) and tested positive. Currently, they are receiving appropriate treatment under proper measures.
As announced yesterday, the top team has suspended team activities for 7 days from Feb 20 (Sun) to Feb 26 (Sat) under the guidance of the local health department to prevent the spread of infection, and there have been no close contacts among the top team members.


□ Progress and symptoms of the player/staff in question
<Player A>
Pain in the throat on Feb 21 (Mon). On Feb 22 (Tue), a temperature of 39.5 degrees, headache, pain in the throat, and mild cough symptoms were present. On the same day, the club conducted its own PCR test, which resulted in a positive diagnosis of COVID-19. Currently, the player is undergoing appropriate treatment and recovery measures.

Player B
No abnormalities on Feb 21 (Mon). On Feb 22 (Tue), had a slight fever of 37.3 degrees and symptoms of cough. On the same day, the club conducted its own PCR test, which resulted in a positive diagnosis of COVID-19. Currently, receiving appropriate treatment and rest under proper measures.


Player C
No abnormalities on Feb 21 (Mon). No abnormalities on Feb 22 (Tue). On the same day, the club conducted its own PCR test and received a positive diagnosis for COVID-19. Currently, the player is undergoing appropriate treatment and recovery.

Player D
Feb 21 (Mon) No abnormalities. Feb 22 (Tue) No abnormalities. On the same day, the club conducted its own PCR test and received a positive diagnosis for COVID-19. Currently, the player is undergoing appropriate treatment and recovery.

<Staff A>
Jan 20 (Sun) No symptoms during the day. Negative PCR test. Slight fatigue in the evening. Jan 21 (Mon) No abnormalities during the day. In the evening of the same day, had a slight fever of 37.3 degrees, fatigue, and cough symptoms, and underwent antigen testing at a medical institution, resulting in a positive diagnosis of COVID-19. Currently undergoing appropriate treatment and recovery.

<Staff B>
There was discomfort in the throat on Jan 20 (Sun). There was discomfort in the throat on Jan 21 (Mon) with a negative PCR test. On Jan 22 (Tue), there was a fever of 38.3 degrees, headache, sore throat, and cough symptoms, and a PCR test was conducted by a testing agency on the same day, resulting in a positive diagnosis of COVID-19. Currently, I am receiving appropriate treatment under proper measures.
