9/18 (Sun) Kyoto Match Serinari Room Implementation Report

On Sep 18 (Sun), we have set up a sensory room in cooperation with J-League at the Kyoto Sanga F.C. match, where children with developmental disabilities and their families who have been diagnosed with sensory hypersensitivity and other symptoms can watch the game with peace of mind.
In the Sensory Room, we support a safe and secure viewing experience tailored to each child. Moving forward, we will continue to operate the Sensory Room as an inclusive space where everyone can enjoy with a smile.
※In the 2021 season, we have conducted 4 trial matches, and in the 2022 season, we have conducted 5 matches so far. In addition, the selection of spectators will be carried out in collaboration with relevant organizations and educational institutions, and will be implemented by the club. [What is a Sensory Room]
A room designed to provide a safe and comfortable environment, with appropriate lighting and soundproofing to block out loud noises and voices, as well as to avoid crowds and unwanted attention. The purpose of the room is to enjoy activities such as watching soccer matches or movies through soundproof glass. The underlying premise is that the way of watching and enjoying may be different from the majority, but the desire to "watch" and "enjoy" is the same as those without any difficulties. In the English Premier League, 14 out of 20 teams have installed sensory rooms. (※Quoted from JFA・J.League text)
