【Report】FC Tokyo invites evacuees from Ukraine to home game

Continuing from last season, we have collaborated with the hometown Tokyo Metropolitan Government to invite people who have been evacuated from Ukraine to home games in Tokyo.
We hope that everyone who has been evacuated from Ukraine can enjoy their life in Japan through sports, even if it's just a little.

Target Match

June 3rd (Sat), 2023 Meiji Yasuda J1 League
Sec. 16 FC Tokyo vs Yokohama F.Marinos
(Kickoff at 3:00 PM/Ajinomoto Stadium)

□Target Audience
Approximately 45 people from Ukraine who have been evacuated to Tokyo and their supporters who wish to attend the game (including interpreters and other accompanying persons).

□Comments from spectators
Lyubomir Danchuk (11 years old)
"I am a fan of Shakhtar Donetsk. Today, I watched a soccer game at a stadium in Japan for the first time, just like when I went to a stadium in Ukraine. It was so much fun to support FC Tokyo. The result was disappointing, but the goals and cheers from FC Tokyo were enjoyable. My heart is just as fulfilled as if they had won. I want to come and support again."
