The other day, Kiichi YAJIMA participated in the "Heisei 29th Year 6th Grade Graduation Commemorative Tournament" hosted by the Fuchu City Youth Soccer Federation and gave a speech and held a signing event in front of the children.

Player Yajima stood in front of about 180 children with a smile throughout, answering their questions politely. The whole venue, including parents and officials from the youth soccer association, was filled with many smiles and a very friendly atmosphere.

During my elementary school years, I was enrolled in FC Tokyo Soccer School (Advanced Class) and grew up in the academy from U-15 to U-18. I asked Tokyo-born Yajima, who returned to FC Tokyo after attending university, for his thoughts on this event. He replied, "I had a lot of fun myself, and I would be very happy if even one more player who loves FC Tokyo from their childhood could be added through these activities! I want to work harder so that children can say, 'I admire this player' about themselves."

FC Tokyo will continue to work on various activities in collaboration with the local community.
