連戦の締めくくりを、ホームで勝利で飾りたい

　7月2日(土)にリーグ第19節ガイナーレ鳥取戦が開催。ホームで迎え撃つ。前節は、暑さとアウェイ2連戦の厳しいスケジュールの中でも集中力を保ち、相手を消耗させる戦いで勝利を収めた。5月14日草津戦の敗戦を最後に、ここ7戦は5勝2分けの無敗できたが、さらに上位をめざすためにも連戦の最後を勝利で締めくくりたい一戦となる。

　アウェイのナイトゲームから中2日。厳しい日程と同時に、石川、鈴木が足の違和感を訴え、今節は欠場に。ただし大熊監督は「チーム全体のオーガナイズは悪くないので、DFラインはあまり動かさず、前で変化をつけることを考えたい。それはこれまでにもトライしてきたことで、大竹の起用や、阿部を中盤で使うオプションもある」と話し、連戦を総力戦で乗り切っていく心積もりだ。先発は、4戦連続で同様のメンバーで臨むことになった。

　対する鳥取は、現在4勝4分け5敗で13位に。今季よりJ2に参入したチームだが、2010シーズンより指揮を執る松田岳夫監督のもと、まとまりがあり、組織的なサッカーが持ち味だ。主に4-3-3の布陣で、MF実信はチーム最多の4得点をマーク。DF戸川もすでに3得点を挙げており、セットプレーも武器になっている。そのため集中を切らさず、連係を図って抑えきりたい。

　また鳥取は、ここまでの総失点は12と堅守を誇る。MF服部がアンカーを務める3ボランチ+4バックの守備をいかに崩していけるかがポイントに。岡山戦では苦労した様子も伺えたが、今野が「僕たちが主導権を握って、相手が嫌がるパスの回し方をしていけば、必ず相手は消耗する」と話すように、たとえ先取点が取れない時間が続いても、焦らずに自分たちのサッカーを続けることが大事になる。90分をとおした粘り強い戦いで鳥取を上回り、勝利につなげたい。

　夕刻になっても蒸し暑さの残る味スタ。試合は18時34分に鳥取のキックオフでスタートした。

Tokyo Aim To Extend Winning Streak 

Gainare Tottori were the visitors to Ajinomoto Stadium for a fixture scheduled as the 19th.game of the season. Tokyo had won their second consecutive away game in three days on Wednesday by exhausting Okayama on a brutally hot and humid evening, a win that extended the side's unbeaten streak to seven games since the May 15th. loss to Kusatsu and propelled the team up to third in the league. 
The intense run of games had taken its toll as both Ishikawa and Suzuki were missing with leg twinges. Tokyo manager Okuma commented, "The team's organisation is fine and I don't want to tinker with the backline so we'll be thinking about some variations up front. It's something we tried before and we have the option to play Otake or Abe in midfield". The starting eleven named was unchanged for the fourth straight game. 
Opponents Tottori lay in 13th.place with a W4 D4 L5 record at kick off. The side, a newcomer to J2 this year under second-season manager Takeo Matsuda, had a reputation for playing systematic, consistent football. Lining up in a 4-3-3 formation midfielder Sanenobu was the leading scorer with four while defender Togawa's three goals testified to the team's threat from set plays. Tottori also boasted a parsimonious defence, having conceded only 12 goals, with a bank of three defensive midfielders led by veteran Hattori protecting the back four. How well Tokyo would be able to unlock that defence would be the key to the game. When asked whether the heat and hard work of Wednesday's game would have any effect Tokyo captain Konno dismissed the idea, "If we can seize the initiative then we'll wear the opposition down with the way we retain possession and play the ball around". If the opening goal failed to appear then patience and perseverance would be vital. 
The heat and humidity of the day still lay heavily on Ajinomoto Stadium as the visitors kicked off shortly after 6:30pm. 

主導権を握るも、前半はスコアレスに

　試合の立ち上がりは、互いに厳しい守備から攻め合う展開に。だがどちらにも決定機といえるチャンスは作れなかった。その中でも徐々に東京が主導権を握ってパスを回す。21分に左前線で田邉が起点を作り、そこから高橋がミドルを狙ったが枠外に。23分には相手陣内で羽生→右側のセザーが力強いドリブルで前進。右エリアに入ったところでシュートを放ったが、GKセーブに阻まれる。

　27分には左CKを谷澤が蹴り、ファーの森重が中に落としたボールを今野がオーバーヘッド。前の高橋がヒールで当てて角度を変えるが、枠外に。鳥取のDFとボランチが中央を固める守備を崩しきれない時間が続いた。

　それでも決して慌てることなく、両サイドバックの攻め上がりなどからワイドに仕掛ける。35分には右に上がった徳永→中央に走った梶山がDFを引きつけてスルー。左後ろでフリーの田邉のもとにパスが渡り、絶好の決定機を作ったが、田邉のシュートはGKの正面に……。37分には梶山自身がドリブルで相手をかわして、エリア手前からシュート。40分には羽生のスルーパスに谷澤が抜け出す。得点こそ決め切れなかったが、リズムを掴んで後半へと折り返した。

Tokyo Dominate Scoreless First Half

Both sides began carefully and chances were at a premium as the defences dominated. As the half progressed Tokyo slowly started to take control and pass the ball around. In the 21st.minute Tanabe began a move down the left that ended with Takahashi shooting narrowly wide from middle-range. In the 23rd.minute Hanyu played Cesar in down the right channel and the Brazilian drew a save from Kobari, in the Tottori goal, with a firm drive. 
Tokyo edged closer in the 27th.minute as Morishige headed down a corner from Yazawa and Konno attempted an overhead kick from near the penalty spot. As the ball flew towards the goal Takahashi attempted to alter the its course with a heel flick but diverted it over the bar. The visitors solid defence prevented Tokyo from creating any further clear-cut chances. 
Nevertheless Tokyo refused to panic and the sidebacks lent their weight to the attack from wide positions. In the 35th.minute Tokunaga steamed down the right before clipping the ball inside to Kajiyama; Kajiyama drew defenders towards him before neatly dummying the ball which reached Tanabe, unmarked on the left inside the area. Tanabe shot first time but the ball was at a decent height for Kobari to parry to safety. 
In the 37th.minute Kajiyama dribbled his way into the Tottori area and shot while in the 40th.minute Hanyu slipped a pass through the visitors defence for Yazawa to chase. Neither effort produced a goal and the first period ended 0-0. 

相手の隙を突き、セザーがゴール！　高橋、森重の連続弾で5連勝！

　後半立ち上がりの49分には、鳥取のポストプレーに入ったFW梅田に対するファールで、エリア手前少し右寄りからのFKを与える。これをFW美尾が地を這う強烈なキックで狙ったが、塩田ががっちりキャッチ。その後は東京がボールを支配し、優位に立った。

　58分、左サイドで突破を仕掛けた中村がファールを受けて、FKを得る。これを谷澤がタイミングを見計らってクイックリスタート。受けた羽生が前に持ち出し、クロスを入れると、ゴール前のロベルト セザーが右足で押し込むように合わせてゴール！　相手の隙を突き、谷澤、羽生、セザーの連係プレーから先制を果たした。

　67分には、右→左の大きなサイドチェンジを羽生が受け、オーバーラップした中村に。中村の左クロスは相手DFに奪われるたが、ここからの相手パスをインターセプトした高橋が、ドリブルで相手を外にずらして狙い澄ましたミドル！　ボールは右上にきっちりと吸い込まれ、高橋の見事な2試合連続弾で、畳み掛けるように追加点を奪った。

　リードを広げた東京は、完全に試合を支配。狙いどおりの試合運びで、ボールを取りにくる鳥取をかわしてパスをつなぎ、機を見て仕掛けていった。85分にはロベルト セザーに変えて大竹を投入。そして終了間際の89分には、梶山→徳永から田邉が右前線に仕掛けてCKを得る。これを大竹が蹴り、マークを外してニアに走った森重が高いジャンプからヘッドを振り抜き、自身の3試合連続ゴールで3点目をゲット。

　その後鳥取にはほとんど反撃の機会を与えず。90分には阿部を左MFに、ロスタイムには上里をボランチに投入して試合をクローズ。快勝で5連勝を果たした。

　【選手コメント】《森重》「CKは、キッカーによって自分なりに合わせ方を変えている。大竹の場合は、マークを外せばそこに蹴ってくれる。今日もピンポイントで来た。セットプレーで取れれば、夏場の厳しい戦いでもラクになるという実感はある。今日もボールを回す中で、隙を突いて先制できた。それができれば自分たちのサッカーがしやすくなるし、隙を作らなければ負けることはない。チャンスを活かし続けられるように頑張りたい」

　《ロベルト セザー》「久しぶりのゴールでうれしかったが、他の選手も取ってくれてチームの勝利がうれしい。ゴールはセットプレーの流れから羽生が隙を見ていて、クロスを入れてくれた。それに合わせて上手く抜けられて、相手より前に入り込んで決めることができた。チームはもちろん良くなってきていると思うが、もっと良くなると思う。我々の目標はあくまでJ1昇格で、それが達成できたわけではない。浮かれることなく、これからも1試合ごとに全力を尽くし、勝ち続けられるようにしたい」

　【大熊監督の会見要旨】「前半はなかなか引いた相手を崩せなかったが、後半はスペースができ、狙うサッカーができた。暑さの中、セットプレーを含めて、相手の隙を突くことは必要。それができたことは次に繋がる。ただ狭いスペースの中で、裏を突くことやコンビネーションで打開すること、勝負する勇気が前半から出せるように、もう少しレベルやチーム力を上げていきたい」

　【鳥取・松田監督の会見要旨】「3連戦の3試合目で、フィジカル的な問題がゲームに影響したと感じる。それでも前半は、前からのプレッシャーや、自陣での守備をうまく使い分けて失点をゼロに抑えられた。若干ボールは動かされたがイメージ通りに進められた。後半も、ある程度回されることはイメージしていたが、引いてブロックを敷いて守るつもりはなく、高い位置で奪ってゴールを目指した。それは常にあるコンセプト。だが、勝負どころでクイックリスタートを受け、切り替えの部分でやられてしまった。そこからゲームが崩れた。もう少し自分たちがボールを持てれば色々なことが変わるが、できないのが現状。それが今日のゲームではっきりした。フィジカルだけではなく、それ以外の部分でも足りないところがたくさんあるが、次に向かって修正すべき点だと捉え、下を向かずに前向きに次のゲームに向かっていきたい」

Cesar Breaks The Deadlock As Tokyo Extend The Winning Streak To Five 

In the 49th.minute Tottori forward Umeda drew a foul just outside the Tokyo area on the right. Forward Mio stepped up and drove a fierce, low drive through the wall that Shiota saw late but quickly got down to save. After that brief scare Tokyo asserted themselves and dominated the game. 
In the 58th.minute Tokyo launched a break down the left and Nakamura was fouled as he raced forward. Yazawa reacted sharply while Tottori were still making their preparations, prodding the ball down the line to Hanyu who took a couple of touches and curled a superb cross into the area between Kobari and his defenders. Roberto Cesar flung himself at the ball and made contact on the half-volley, spearing it into the roof of the net to give Tokyo the lead. 
In the 67th.minute Hanyu sprayed a crossfield ball to Nakamura, overlapping down the left. Nakamura crossed but a Tottori defender intercepted the pass then moved it on to a teammate just outside the penalty area. Takahashi darted in, whipped the ball away from the dithering Tottori player, took a touch and stroked a perfectly-hit curling shot high into the top right corner of the goal with Kobari rooted to the spot and able to do nothing as the ball sailed into the net. 
With a two-goal cushion established Tokyo entirely controlled the game, moving the ball around almost at will. Otake replaced Roberto Cesar in the 85th.minute and contributed almost immediately. Kajiyama, Tokunaga and Tanabe linked up down the right in the 89th.minute, eventually winning a corner that Otake curled in to the near post. Morishige got in front of his marker and glanced a header down and beyond Kobari to extend Tokyo's lead to three. 
Tokyo introduced Abe and Uesato as late substitutes and ran the clock down until the final whistle blew on a comprehensive 3-0 win that extended the winning streak to five games.

"I've altered my approach at corners depending on who's taking them. If it's Otake and I lose my marker he'll put the ball where I am and that's what he did today. It was a pinpoint corner. It's definitely true that if we can score from set plays it makes these difficult summer games much easier. Today we moved the ball around and probed until we found an opening for the first goal. It makes it easier for us to play our own game and if we can create and exploit openings like that then we aren't going to lose. I want to continue to do my best and keep taking the chances as they come". 

Roberto Cesar 
"It's my first goal for a while so I'm happy and I'm also delighted that the other guys scored and we won. Hanyu spotted a gap in their defence from the quick free kick and played a great cross in and I managed to get in faster than their defenders and score. Naturally the team is improving and we can improve much further I think. Our aim is to return to J1 but we haven't achieved that yet. We can't afford to lose our focus and must play to the best of our ability in each game to keep on winning".

"Our opponents defended deeply in the first half so it was fairly difficult to open then up but in the second half we found space and played the way we wanted to. In this kind of heat we need to be able to find those chinks in our opponents’ defensive armour and I think the performance today will have an influence on the next game. However, we do need to improve overall to play in narrow areas, to get behind defences and to make the combination moves that can break the deadlock in the first half of games".

"This was the third game in a week and I felt that the physical side had an influence on the game. Even so, in the first half our pressing and defensive organization went well and we kept the score to 0-0 at half time. The first half went as we imagined with them moving the ball around and the second half too, where our plan wasn't to defend deeply in blocks but to win the ball high up the field. That's our usual plan. Unfortunately though we conceded from a quickly taken free kick and our game plan went out of the window. If we could enjoy more possession then we could change aspects of our game but we can't and that's our situation right now. That was plain to see in today's game. We're lacking not only the in physical side of the game but in many area as well. There's no point in being downhearted so we have to fix what we can and look forward positively to the next game".
