The "off-campus training for Tama Juvenile Prison inmates" that we have been conducting at Kodaira Ground since last year cannot be implemented this year due to the impact of the coronavirus.
So, we have produced a video message by Naohiro ISHIKAWA, the club communicator, who participates in the "Tama Juvenile Detention Center Soccer School" held every February with the desire to think about what we can do for graduate students even in the midst of the corona crisis and to cheer them up even a little. The video message was broadcasted at the Tama Juvenile Detention Center in early December.
As a token of appreciation, the staff from Tama Juvenile Prison recently visited the club office and delivered a "message ball of encouragement from the inmates" for the Levain Cup final on January 4th (Mon), which was received by Naohiro ISHIKAWA, the club communicator.
We will fight in the Levain Cup Final Round together with the thoughts of the boys at Tama Juvenile Prison.
□ Comment from Naohiro ISHIKAWA, Club Communicator
"I felt the weight of each word that was written while facing my own thoughts. While thinking about my teammates and my own feelings as a graduate student, he wrote a message to our club. Writing a message to the ball and thinking about its content is a reminder and determination for myself as a graduate student. I would like to take these important thoughts of the graduate student to the Japan National Stadium and fight together. We will fight together as one to show the graduate students a good result and a good appearance!"
