FC Tokyo volleyball team will suspend its activities as a team at the end of May 2022.
This team started its activities in 2003, with the predecessor being Tokyo Gas Volleyball Club.
So far, we have been active in the V1 League, winning the national championship twice, finishing as runners-up in the Emperor's Cup once, finishing as runners-up in the Kuroshio Flag once, and participating in major tournaments. We have been active as the top team in the Japanese men's volleyball world.
However, after considering the changes in the surrounding business environment, the potential for long-term business growth, and the comprehensive plan for the future of the V-League, including its commercialization and advancement, we have decided to suspend our activities.
In addition, volleyball classes and other promotional activities will also be suspended.

The volleyball team has received great support from everyone, just like soccer, and has been promoted to the top league in Japan. We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has given us tremendous support so far.

FC Tokyo will continue to contribute to the development of the local community through soccer.
