As announced in the additional operation verification match regarding the phased introduction of vocal support in official matches from the J.League today (May 31), FC Tokyo will host the 2022 Meiji Yasuda J1 League Sec. 20 match against Hokkaido Consadole Sapporo on July 6 (Wed).
In introducing it, we conducted surveys and discussions with various parties, including the results of the survey on the installation of the "Voice Support Area" for SOCIO members and the J-League, and made a decision. Regarding the ticket sales schedule, viewing rules, voice support area, and other details of the target matches, we will announce them as soon as the content is determined.
At FC Tokyo, since the spread of the new coronavirus infection in 2020, we have prioritized the safe and secure holding of matches and have limited the style of support such as cheering with a loud voice from the perspective of infection prevention. As research on infection risks progresses domestically and internationally, we have gradually reviewed the guidelines and, with the understanding and cooperation of fans and supporters, and everyone who visits, we are currently able to hold matches without causing cluster infections from the stadium. We would like to express our sincere gratitude.
As the next step, we aim to create an environment where we can achieve both the recovery of the soccer support culture and the passion and unity through sports, while ensuring safe and secure operations. We appreciate your continued understanding and cooperation.
