On July 17th, 2022, in the 22nd round of the Meiji Yasuda J1 League, we will have a match against Júbilo Iwata (kickoff at 18:00 at Ajinomoto Stadium). We will be conducting a taiko drum performance by the "Ondekoza" group.
"We will have the opportunity to showcase the performance of the taiko drums by Kodo, a taiko drumming group that is actively engaged in global activities, including tours in various countries around the world, at Ajinomoto Stadium. This includes performances at the opening ceremony of the "Rugby World Cup 2019 Japan" and the "National Festival to Celebrate the Enthronement of His Majesty the Emperor"."

Onidaiko-za was formed in Sado by young people who gathered under the concept of the late Koya Den. The essence of their activities lies in the "Philosophy of Running Music," which states that running and music are inseparable and reflect the drama and energy of life.
After completing the 1975 Boston Marathon, he made a shocking debut by running up to the stage and playing a three-foot-eight-inch taiko drum.
Performing the unprecedented "Complete Tour of the United States" covering a distance of 14,910km, starting with the 1990 Carnegie Hall performance.
In 2012, as part of the "Overcoming the Great East Japan Earthquake - World Tour" organized by the Japan Foundation, a one-month journey around the world was conducted, starting from the United Nations General Assembly Hall in New York, as a gesture of gratitude for the support towards the Great East Japan Earthquake.
In addition to overseas performances such as the 2013 Abu Dhabi performance, in Japan, we also engage in activities with themes of contemporary art and coexistence with nature, including the Setouchi International Art Festival and the Echigo-Tsumari Art Triennale.
Performances of the 45th anniversary project of the 2014 Onidaikoza "Return to the Furrow - No Need for a Story! Receive the Waves with Your Whole Body as Ears!" will be held in various parts of Japan.
Started the Earth Meeting Caravan in 2015, aiming for the 50th anniversary of Kodo in 2020, and currently touring various countries around the world including Azerbaijan, Indonesia, Brazil, Turkey, Serbia, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, the United States, Portugal, UAE, and China, as well as performing throughout Japan. Appeared at the IOC certified event "Minna no Handover Rio to TOKYO" at Odaiba Fuji TV and the festival "Classic Rock Awards 2016" by rock artists from around the world at the Kokugikan.
In addition to a 1.5-month tour in the American Midwest, a 1-month tour in Dubai, and a 3-week tour in China, we also traveled through Hokkaido to the Seto Inland Sea in Japan. In September of the same year, we performed at the opening ceremony of the Rugby World Cup 2019 Japan, and on November 9th, we performed at the "National Festival to Celebrate the Enthronement of His Majesty the Emperor".
